According to public information, Vicarious Visions is an American game developer based in Menaz, New York. The studio was founded in 1990 by brothers Karthik Bala and Guha Bala, when they were still in high school.
In January 2005, Vicarious Visions passively acquired, it is worth noting that Vicarious Visions has provided support for many well-known IPs such as Call of Duty, Ancient Wolf, Destiny, Tony Hawke Professional Skateboarding, and Spyro the Dragon.
The studio's 200 employees will remain in Albany, New York, where they are customarily referred to as Blizzard Albany. Currently VV Studios is working primarily on the Diablo 4 project.
Vicarious Visions has officially announced its integration into Blizzard Entertainment, which means that developer Vicarious Visions will completely break away from Activision and become Blizzard's support studio to assist Blizzard in developing new games.
