This is the 9th time alphabet brother has been named Player of the Month in his career and the first since January 2020. The Bucks official posted a picture congratulating the letter brother on his election.
Alphabet brother scored 30+ in 10 of the last 16 games of the regular season, and he also became the Bucks' all-time leading scorer. In the 2021-22 season, Alphabet Brother averaged a career-high of 29.9 points per game, in addition to averaging 11.6 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.4 blocks per game. For the fourth consecutive season, he averaged at least 25 points, 10 boards and five assists per game, becoming the first player in NBA history to do so in four seasons.
Western Conference Player of the Month: Jokic
Jokic averaged 31.6 points, 13.7 rebounds, 7.5 assists, 1.8 steals, 1.3 blocks and 62.3 percent from the field in March-April, helping the Nuggets advance to the playoffs for the fourth consecutive year. This is Jokic's fourth career player of the month, and he surpassed Anthony and Ingrish as the player with the most honors of the month in Nuggets history. The Nuggets officially congratulated Jokic on his election.
Jokic is also the player with the most triple-doubles this season, playing a total of 19 triple-doubles, and he also played at least 35 points and 10 rebounds in five consecutive games, equaling Carl Malone's record. This season, Jokic averaged 27.1 points, 13.8 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game, becoming the first player in history to average at least 25 points, 13 boards and 6 assists per game in a single season, and his PER value was 32.85, also a new high in NBA history.
