On the afternoon of September 16, President Zhao Kai met with Zhu Wei, Director of the Shenyang Representative Office of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, and the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on actively playing their respective functions and further promoting economic and trade cooperation between enterprises of the two places.

Chairman Zhao Kai introduced the work results achieved by actively organizing enterprises to participate in the 26th Macao International Trade and Investment Exhibition in 2021 and promoting the development of aviation, robotics and other industries in Shenyang on the basis of strictly implementing the epidemic prevention and control policies of Shenyang. He hoped to use the advantages and resources of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and portuguese-speaking countries in international liaison to promote more enterprises in Shenyang to go global, and also welcomed commodities from Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries to enter the Shenyang market, and further broadened the contact channels between the city and Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries for economic and trade exchanges through good interaction and cooperation with the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute.

Director Zhu Wei thanked the Shenyang Council for the Promotion of International Trade for its continuous support and assistance to the work of the Shenyang Representative Office of the Macao Council for the Promotion of International Trade. She introduced the current epidemic prevention and control situation in Macao and the development of the Macao Council for the Promotion of International Trade in promoting conferences and exhibitions, tourism, leisure and health care, and medical and health industries. He focused on introducing Macao's policy on the development of the Chinese medicine industry in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone, the policy on the approval and registration of Chinese medicine brands in Macao, the traditional Chinese medicine products, food and health products produced in the Hengqin Cooperation Zone, the use of the logo policy of "Macao Supervision", "Macao Supervision" or "Macao Design", the reduction and exemption of enterprise income tax on eligible industrial enterprises in the Hengqin Cooperation Zone, and actively promoting the diversified development of the industrial economy of Macao and the Hengqin Cooperation Zone.

In response to the situation introduced by Director Zhu Wei, Chairman Zhao Kai proposed to strengthen the use of preferential policies and resources for the Traditional Chinese medicine industry in Macao in light of the development of traditional Chinese medicine production, old-age medical care and large health industry in our city, and join hands with the Macao International Trade Promotion Bureau to promote the deep integration and high-quality development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry in Shenyang and Macao to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
