Hello everyone! Today, I will introduce the Tang Dynasty cultural relics "XingYao White Glazed Small Pot", which is 10.5 cm high, 2.5 cm in caliber, and 5.3 cm in diameter.
Pot mouth, short neck, round belly, circle foot. There is a short stream on one side of the shoulder, and a pot handle on the corresponding side, and a decorative knot on the end of the handle.
This pot has a small shape and white glaze, and is a product of the Tang Dynasty of Xingyao in Hebei Province.
In the Tang Dynasty, Xingyao kiln was a famous porcelain kiln in the north, mainly burning white porcelain, and also firing yellow glaze, black glaze and three color varieties.
Its products are not only used domestically, but also exported to all over the world.
The ruins of the Xing kiln are located in Xingzhou, Hebei during the Tang Dynasty, and the central kiln farm is in the area of Chengguan in present-day Neiqiu County, Hebei Province. Judging from the specimens unearthed from the investigation and excavation of the kiln site, the white porcelain of the Xing kiln in the Tang Dynasty was divided into fine and coarse to meet the needs of different classes of people.
