Host: You're not only a music writer and producer, but you're also often a producer of famous American dramas in Hollywood, can you tell us how you prepared for these two very different kinds of work?
Marina Yangyang: I think these two jobs are like the feeling of day and night, because creation is a very lonely work. Music creation is relatively personal, and it is a job that requires keeping the brain running in a very quiet situation, so it is very suitable for creating during the night. When I was a producer, my contact with people would have some collisions in my mind, which was a great source of inspiration for me to create music. Being a producer needs to coordinate a lot of things, and he's a bit like being a music producer, but music producer is a more abstract job.
In the dead of night, we are more accustomed to making music, because at this time our inspiration is very sensitive, but it is more suitable for communicating with people during the day, so it is more suitable for my work as a producer. In the process of production, you will communicate with different actors and crews, and while communicating, they will bring me different inner touches, so at this time, at night, what I write is different. Music is the more you communicate, the stronger the inspiration, so being a producer and a music producer is a complementary job.
Host: In your creative process, what do you think is the difference between pop music creation and film and television music creation?
Marina Yangyang: Pop music creation and film and television music creation are very different. Pop music creation is often our songwriter who gives us lyrics, which I bring in through the lyrics he gives, then compose and compose music, and finally polish and sing. However, the music creation of film and television dramas is to serve the content and plot expressed in film and television dramas to compose music. Just like looking at pictures and reading, you follow the feeling that the plot gives you, and then you add music. Popular music creation is based on the lyrics given by the lyricist to express one's emotions, but on the contrary, film and television music creation has a prescribed range, according to the scope brought by the plot to carry out a most suitable creation for the film.

Moderator: Can you tell our audience a little bit more about some of your recent progress and preparations in music, film and television, production? Can you tell us about the composition, singing, and creative background of your latest song "I Miss Home"?
Marina Yangyang: Recently, my team in the United States and I were preparing for the second season of the American drama "Before Future Boy". There is also the opening song of the American drama "Love Study Abroad 2+2" that is being prepared to cooperate with Hollywood INF MEDIA STUDIO, because this film is a Sino-US co-production, so its opening song is written with Chinese, because this film will be aimed at many Chinese audiences. My new song "I Miss Home" is actually closely related to my personal experience. Initially, I also studied in the United States, then went to Taiwan, and then traveled all over the world according to concerts. Even in China, I rarely spend time with my parents at home. So I told my lyricist that I wanted to write a song that was about everyone.
My songwriter teacher was so touched by this idea that he wrote the song "I Miss Home". The lyrics of the song "wandering for many years and wanting to go home, often missing mom and dad" is a very common phenomenon in today's society. Everyone is working hard to get away from their parents and home for work, so the thoughts are getting heavier and heavier. My songwriter also often comes home with very little work in the field, so he expresses this common desire through this song.
