Poet Ye Yanbin believes that in the new era, Chinese poets are facing a new world, a new reality and a new life. The "new" of the "new era" is reflected in the fact that the modernity of this era is more reflected in real life, and the modern sense of real life gives poets more creative space and creative inspiration. Poets who truly love poetry and adhere to the spirit of poetry that has been passed down from generation to generation need to work harder today to respond to the expectations of the new era and write poems worthy of the times. In the creation of poetry, it is necessary to pursue the height of the era of poetry spirit, the social depth of poetry themes, and the artistic precision of poetry language. Wu Sijing, a professor at Capital Normal University, said that in the new era, poets should have a more accurate positioning of their own role. Some poets place too much emphasis on "private space" and turn poetry writing into a whisper in the "ivory tower"; some poets use "public space" to completely cover up "private space", so that people cannot see the image of the poet and hear the poet's heart. In this case, how to deal with the relationship between "private space" and "public space" is not only a technical issue and a method problem, but also a deep problem involving how the poet should grasp the world and self. Therefore, poets should not only work "within poetry" to maintain the exploration of art in poetry creation, but also "extra-poetic efforts" to open their hearts to the world, absorb its breadth and vitality, and become a true poet worthy of the new era.
Ji Di Majia, director of the Poetry Committee of the China Writers Association, pointed out that after more than a hundred years of new poetry creation, a large number of excellent works have emerged in the interaction with the times and society, and in the casting of various Chinese and foreign resources. In the new era, poets need to inherit the fine poetic tradition, create new creations based on the real context, better handle the dialectical relationship between poetry and reality, individual experience and experience of the times, new experience and new language, and shape the poetry aesthetics of the new era with more fine works.
Deng Kai, secretary of the Secretariat of the China Writers Association, concluded that in the past ten years of poetry in the new era, the ancient Chinese poetry tradition has been continued, and the rapid growth of new Chinese poetry and the vigorous development of miscellaneous peanut trees in the past century have been presented. Although there are problems of new poetry in one way or another, we need to maintain a high degree of vigilance and overcome our limitations. At the same time, the new journey of the new era and the new historical orientation have opened up a new discursive space for poets and critics, and we also need to update the visual system, perception system, and evaluation system of poetry, closely combine the personal poetry purpose, life pursuit, and artistic life with the future of the country, the destiny of the nation, and the aspirations of the people, and strive to make the poems in our writing have deeper strength and more timeless charm.
