Apple officials also said that in addition to providing free participation for all developers in the Global Developer Conference, special events will be held for developers and students, who will watch keynote speeches and Platforms State of the Union videos with the online community. Apple will also continue to host the Swift Student Challenge, which this year invites students around the world to create a Swift Playgrounds app project with a theme of their choice, and participants can submit their work by April 25.
