At "The State of Unreal 2022" at Epic Games last night, Gears of War developer The Coalition showcased a demo video using new unreal engine technology. While the demo of this technology isn't representative of the game the team is working on, it at least lets players know what the studio's purpose is.
As Microsoft and The Coalition put it, "The Coalition's latest Unreal Engine demo, The Cave, showcases cinematic quality, with tens of millions of polygons, real-time rendering, and a hundred-fold quality jump in graphic detail." And players can talk more about the team's collaboration with Epic Games, developing games in Unreal Engine 5, and what players are looking forward to for the next-generation game experience. ”
A demonstration of this technique shows an area of a dungeon or cave, an open-world area, and a human character. As for the human character, The Coalition is currently set as a superpower. The Coalition has yet to reveal its next game. However, given its history, we can assume that it is working on a new game for Gears of War. But this is only a well-founded guess.
