Take thistle as the surname flying in fairy tales

Thistle is a perennial herb of the genus Thistle in the family Asteraceae. Seedlings in early spring can be eaten as vegetables, flowers in spring and summer are like buns, flowers and stems and leaves, and roots in autumn and winter can be used for medicinal purposes.

With thistle as its surname, it is flying in a fairy tale.

A high cold and fiery

Thistle is a wonderful grass that seamlessly connects high cold and fiery heat.

Her flowers, the red or purple small, like the buns that the ancients combed, meticulous, standard beauty buns, revealing flower language is also silent, steady, rigorous love. Her seedlings and leaves, in the form of galloping breath, let go of the self, some large and some small, and also have thorns. As the Ming Dynasty medical scientist Li Shizhen said: "Thistle is also a bun, and its flowers are like buns." Tigers and cats are also vicious because of their seedlings. "Vicious" here is not a pejorative meaning, but only a figurative description of its state. The ancients were interesting and often made people smile.

thistle

Thistle has a distinction between large thistle and small thistle, the big thistle is a tiger thistle, and the small thistle is a cat thistle, and the difference is as the Song Dynasty medical scientist Kou Zongyi said: "The big and small thistles are similar, and the flowers are like buns." But the big thistle is three or four feet tall, and the leaves are wrinkled; the small thistle is about a foot high, and the leaves are not wrinkled, which is different. Although the cooking has a slight glow, it does not harm people. "Thistle is everywhere, mainly growing on hillsides, forest edges, shrublands, meadows, wastelands, fields, roadsides, streams at an altitude of 400 to 2000 meters, with strong adaptability, lax soil requirements, and grows well in fertile and well-drained soils.

The Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen couldn't help but write about thistle when he saw her, and the fairy tale "The Encounter with Thistle" was born, in which Andersen explained the "only" reason for writing: "I saw such a perfect thistle in the field near Basnas Manor. I had no choice but to write it as a story. "The position of the thistle is thus opened.

The fairy tale thistle was originally "ignored by anyone but an old donkey who towed a milk cart". Compared to the flowers and trees in the beautiful garden of the fence nearby, she did look a little low. But a young lady from Scotland took a fancy to her and plucked her first flower and inserted it into the buttonhole of a young gentleman's dress. Thistle immediately "felt as if dew and sunlight had seeped into her body", and she also thought that her position "should be inside the fence, not outside the fence", that she "would definitely be transplanted into the garden", and "waited every minute to walk through the fence", looking forward to the realization of her own value. However, until Miss Scotland and the young gentleman entered marriage through love, and the calyx of the last beautiful silver flower of the thistle was brought into the living room of the house on the fence and engraved on the frame of the couple's portrait, the thistle did not enter the fence.

The fairy tale was first published in the October 1869 issue of Teen Riverside Magazine in New York, and was printed in the Danish "Three New Collections of Fairy Tales and Stories" on December 17 of that year. The thistle in the story meets the eyes of discovering beauty, but does not get the desired position. Everything in this world should have its own matching position, unrestrained love of freedom, free and unyielding, showing the nature of living things. However, in real life, there are often things that do not match the position of moral integrity, some are seriously underestimated and are in a low position; some are seriously overestimated and do not deserve that position.

Fortunately, in ancient China, thistle matched its location. Thistle is often eaten as a vegetable. In early spring, the young seedlings or young leaves of the thistle are picked, the thorns on the soft thistle are blanched with boiling water, rinsed with clean water, and directly fried. When summer comes, either make thistle into a soup dish, or directly make it into a cold dish, or chop the thistle and steam the noodles. In late autumn, dig up the fleshy roots of thistle, remove impurities, or wash with water and add water to cook slightly, marinate into pickles to eat, or dry and preserve, make dry products for later consumption. Thistle can protect the liver, kidneys and cardiovascular, enhance liver detoxification function, improve blood circulation and prevent arteriosclerosis.

It was also because of being loved that there was a jiguo and brought the surname of ji. According to the "Surname Kaoliu" record, around the Time of the Yin Shang Dynasty, the ancient Fanyang (about the southwest of present-day Beijing) naturally formed a small country because of the unique temperament and talent of thistle growing throughout the mountains, known in history as the JiGuo. The Ji kingdom was one of the earliest countries to form in present-day Beijing. During the Western Zhou Dynasty, the Ji Kingdom became a fief of the Zhou Kingdom, and the King of Zhou Wu, Ji Fa, admired the merits of the sages, and the descendants of the Yellow Emperor were made princes in the Ji Kingdom, and the Book of Rites and Music records: "King Ke Yin of Wu returned to shang, and before he could get off the bus, he was crowned the Yellow Emperor after Ji. The "History of Zhou Benji" also says that King Wu was given the title of "Emperor Yao after Yu Ji". The Ji Kingdom was annexed by the Yan Kingdom around the 7th century BC, and the former Ji Kingdom monarchs took the name of the country as their surname, called the Ji Clan, which was passed down from generation to generation.

I also like thistle, and I like the free and pure heart under the appearance of the high-end.

2. Romance and magic

The position of thistle in the ancient Chinese surname is also ideal, creating a mythical existence.

Its central figure is the famous scholar Ji Zixun during the Jian'an period of the Eastern Han Dynasty. He is recorded in ancient books such as Zhengshi, Yeshi, and Fangzhi.

The Book of the Later Han Dynasty by Fan Ye, a historian and writer of the Southern Dynasty and Song Dynasty, says: "The Jizi trainers do not know the origin. In Jian'an, the guest is in Jiyin Wanjiao. There is a divine way. "Zi Xun Liu Famous JingShi, Scholars and Doctors all inherit the wind and go to Mu Zhi." Ji Zixun did not know where it came from, and during the Jian'an years, he lived in Jiyin Wangu (about the southwest of present-day Heze, Shandong), because there was a "way of the gods", and the scholars rushed to visit and flocked to it.

The Eastern Jin Dynasty Daoist scholar, alchemist, and medicinal scholar Ge Hong's "Biography of the Immortals" says: "The Jizi trainer, the Qi people also. Taste less Shizhou County, raise filial piety, except LangZhong. He also joined the army, except for lieutenant Ma Du, people do not know that he has a way..." Ji Zixun was a Qi national, who served as an official in a prefecture and county when he was a teenager, was promoted to filial piety, served in Langzhong, and later joined the army, serving as a lieutenant of Ma Du, and many people at that time did not know that he had extraordinary skills.

During the Han Dynasty, many people believed in both Buddhism and Taoism. Ji Zixun is a proficient buddhist, humble and courteous, very faithful, and good at preaching his own magic skills. He is charitable, and there are dozens of tables at home, and there are hundreds of guests, and everyone can enjoy the hospitality of fine wine and food. At that time, many people in the capital were proud to be able to visit his home, believed in his Taoist skills, and consciously became fans, and widely publicized his miraculous skills, so the daimyo of Ji Zixun was known to everyone in The Capital and all over the north. "There are often thousands of spectators who chase them. Even when they arrived at the Capital Division, the secretary of state and the secretary of state were waiting for hundreds of people, and hundreds of people sat on the throne, all of whom were set up for wine and did not drink all day long. ”

Thistle Atlas

There are many magical stories of Thistle Training. He once appeared in twenty-three pilgrim houses at the same time, wearing the same color and style of clothing, but talking about different topics, and this strange story surprised the "Kyoshi" greatly. His immortality was even more widely spread: when Ji Zixun was more than two hundred years old, a centenarian told everyone that when he was young, he had seen Ji Zixun sell herbs at the Huiji Market to cure people's diseases, and his face was exactly the same as it is now. When Ji Zixun was more than five hundred years old, someone saw him holding herbs in his hand and "an old man with a copper man" in Chang'an Dongba City, and the two sighed together: "It is nearly five hundred years old to see this casting." It turned out that it had been five hundred years since the two men discovered and cast this bronze statue. The people who heard this were greatly surprised and wanted to follow Ji Zi Xun, but Ji Zi Xun looked back at this person, and then he and the old man drove away in a donkey cart, and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

It may be an exaggeration to say that Thistle is over 500 years old. According to relevant historical records, Ji Zixun was born about 184 AD and lived for about 100 years. In fact, Ji Zixun is a master of medicine and alchemy, very good at health care, and can do some fantasy techniques such as folk blindfolding. Herbs are also important props for thistle to practice magic. As a descendant of the thistle surname, he certainly loved thistle. Eating and healing diseases are handy. He knows very well that the thistle and the small thistle are sweet and warm, the big thistle can cure carbuncles and reduce swelling, stop bleeding and remove stasis, make people fat, and the small thistle can nourish the sperm and protect the blood, clear the heat and eliminate the troubles, and eat appetizingly. When his fans have symptoms such as hemoptysis, vomiting blood, blood in the urine or similar to modern hepatitis, nephritis, mastitis and other diseases, he uses thistle to treat them, and the effect is good. During the treatment, he also created some fantasy effects. The rising flames and the swirling clouds of smoke often surrounded him in an instant, making him look like a god. The superb foundation on the inside and the wonderful form on the outside made him even more magical in the eyes of people.

In his later years, Ji Zixun was tired of the officialdom and thought that being an official would affect his cultivation of the art of immortality, so he resigned from the official, purified his heart, studied the "I Ching", wrote some short and profound articles, and often chatted and played with children. Isn't what that cute child said a fairy tale? Thistle Also does some little magic tricks to have fun with children. Sometimes, with a gentle swing, a few thistles spread out in the palm of your hand; sometimes, with a gentle blow, several thistles leaves fall from the sky. In the cheers of the children, the thistle trained to carry the thistle, jumping between romance and magic, and later Hans Christian Andersen, has a slight resemblance.

I also like the situation of thistle in this fairy tale.

Three thistles in fairy tales

In Europe on the other side of the ocean, thistle is the existence of beauty and ideals.

It is recorded that during the great power of the Roman Empire, elite troops were sent across the English Channel to wage war against Scotland. Although the Scottish army was defensively defensive, it was outnumbered and appeared to be invincible. Late one night, the Roman army tried to sneak attack Scotland, but the Scottish army was completely unaware of the fatigue of daytime combat. Just as the Roman army was about to infiltrate the castle, a Roman soldier suddenly let out a painful and shrill cry, which soon woke up many Scots. It turned out that the Roman soldier stepped on the side of the road full of spiked thistles, and the sharp pain caused by the spikes made him unable to control his voice. The Scots discovered the sneak attack of the Roman army and immediately fought back, preserving the land of Scotland. Thistle was thus considered the flower that saved the country, and the Scots revered it as the national flower.

No wonder in Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, the Scottish lady took a look at thistle. Thistle, finally became a healing elf.

Andersen's decision to write fairy tales also began with the pursuit of the idea and position of beauty: "for the sake of the future generation." Born into a poor family of shoemakers in Odense, Andersen spent his early years at a charity school as an apprentice. Influenced by his father and folk oral literature, he loved literature since childhood. His literary career began in 1822. In his early years, he mainly composed, published and published poems and plays, and the novel "Improv poet" published in 1833 was a masterpiece of adult literature and earned him international reputation. Around 1835, he published his first collection of fairy tales, Stories for Children, and in the years that followed, he often published a collection of fairy tales during Christmas as a New Year's gift to children. He has spent nearly 40 years creating a large number of fairy tales. With such a wonderful position as the founder of world literature fairy tales, Andersen deserves it.

The meaning of fairy tales is to help us live better, it tells us that the world is cruel, but to yearn for gentleness and strength. With a warm pen and a compassionate heart, Andersen wrote for the innocent hopes of our once softness, but also for the sighs we now endured after the storm, he wrote for the ups and downs of the life of every child who read his fairy tales, and he gave great comfort and care to the fairy tale characters. Thistle, too, has an idealistic glow.

"A person's encounter is really unexpected", accidental and inexplicable, like the wind coming and going, only the thickness of the mind can support all human encounters and the burdens they bring. Although thistle's wish to enter the fence is difficult to achieve, thistle's thought has opened up such a flower: "As long as the child goes inside, the mother standing outside the fence should also be satisfied." "Comforted his own unhappiness, but also expressed the deepest maternal love." This love is truly glorious.

The most thankful thing about the world is the ending sentence of the fairy tale, where the sun says to thistle, "You should also get a good position." "What about in a flowerpot?" Or is it on the frame? "Thistle asked." In a fairy tale! Sunshine said.

Yes, a fairy tale is a glowing location.

We, too, are also full of joy, slowly living into the way we like more and more. (Editor-in-charge: Shen Feng)
