The 37-year-old Han Guang has been engaged in tombstone design for 10 years, majoring in landscape design as an undergraduate, and after entering the funeral industry, he has a deeper understanding and perception of life, and then turned to tombstone design work.
"The cemeteries in the public's impression are mostly tombstones 'forests', and the rows of black stone stele are solemn and solemn, which makes people feel unconsciously depressed." Han Guang said that tombstones are the carriers of information and emotions, and in recent years, more and more people hope that tombstones can be presented artistically, so the tombstone design is also recognized.
Unlike traditional art design, Han Guang believes that tombstone design faces life and death, and designers should be in awe. He said that for relatives, tombstones are the spiritual sustenance for preserving the voice and good memories of the deceased, and designers often have to spend more time listening to relatives tell the stories of the deceased, so that the tombstone design can be integrated into the glittering experiences, hobbies, and wishes of the deceased. "Without reverence, it is difficult to empathize with relatives, and the designed tombstones are also devoid of emotion."
