Pipon of the NBA's 75 biggest stars: the greatest second in charge, assisted Jordan to achieve three consecutive championships twice

Looking back on Pippen's career, everyone's impression of him is to assist Jordan to achieve two triple crowns, because of Jordan's historical status, so everyone calls Pippen the greatest second boss in history.

Two masters

In 1987, the Supersonics selected Pippen with the 5th pick, but traded him to the Bulls, whose star at the time was Jordan.

In his rookie season, Pippen was only a backup small forward for the team, averaging only 7.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. This season, team boss Jordan won the first MVP of his career and stepped into the ranks of the league's supergiants. However, in the playoffs, Pippen began to serve as the starter, but they met the main pistons in the second round, and the Bulls stopped in the second round.

In the 1988–89 season, Pippen and the Bulls made the playoffs again, this time reaching the finals, but falling in front of the Pistons again.

In the 1989–90 season, the Bulls went on to lose to the Pistons in the Eastern Conference Finals.

In the 1990–91 season, the Bulls won their first championship in franchise history under Jordan and Pippen. In the team, Pippen's performance is second only to Jordan, so Pippen has confirmed his second-in-command status.

As the second boss, Pippen worked hard to contribute himself, helping the Bulls achieve their first triple crown and establish the Bull Dynasty.

Temporary boss

After the Bulls achieved their first triple crown, Jordan retired, and pippen became the team boss. Pippen, who became the team boss, won his only MVP in the 1994 All-Star Game. Despite the lack of Jordan, Pippen led the Bulls to the playoffs, only to lose to the Knicks in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

In the 1994–95 season, Pippen was the first in all five major statistics, but towards the end of the season, Jordan returned and Pippen became the second in command again.

In the second season after Jordan's return, the Bulls began to rule the league again, and they once again achieved a three-game winning streak and re-established a new Bulls dynasty.

Leave the bull

After achieving his second triple crown, Jordan retired again, when Pippen had no choice to stay with the Bulls and went to the Rockets.

In the Rockets' first season, Pippen was named to the best defensive team, which was also his last selection. The Rockets were eliminated by the Lakers in the first round of the playoffs, after which Pippen was traded to the Blazers.

In the Blazers' first season, Pippen and the Blazers reached the Western Conference Finals, but they eventually lost to the Lakers. In the next 3 seasons, Pippen's performance gradually declined due to age, and the Blazers' record was average.

In the 2003-04 season, Pippen thought of falling leaves, and he returned to the bulls where he once had a brilliant life, and announced his retirement at the end of the season.
