You still don't see enough jade in the Forbidden City!

The Forbidden City in Beijing was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China, formerly known as the Forbidden City, located in the center of Beijing's central axis. The Forbidden City in Beijing is centered on the three major halls, covering an area of 720,000 square meters, with a construction area of about 150,000 square meters, more than 70 large and small palaces, and more than 9,000 houses.

According to statistics, the Palace Museum has a collection of about 30,000 ancient jade tools, mainly from the remains of the Qing Palace. The jade stored in the Palace Museum can be divided into three parts, namely, ancient jade before the Yuan Dynasty, jade from the Ming Dynasty, and jade from the Qing Dynasty according to the era.

Most of the ming dynasty jade is the remains of the Ming Palace and the collection of the Qing Dynasty court, which is the most important material for the study of Ming jade. A large number of Qing Dynasty jades are mainly used by the Qing Dynasty court and the jade treasures of officials at all levels to pay tribute, covering all aspects of Qing Dynasty jade, comprehensively reflecting the manufacture, use and cultural connotation of Qing Dynasty jade.
