"You have to study well, otherwise you will have to dig coal when you grow up."

Oh, yes! On the other side of the mountain behind the village, it is really not good for the small coal kiln (now it is gone, and it is estimated that it has been almost dug up).

"You have to study well, otherwise you will have to farm with us at home when you grow up."

When a farmer, in addition to the mountains, isn't that a few acres of paddy fields?

……

When I was a student, my parents often nagged me. At that time, the concept of books in my mind was books. Or rather, textbooks, textbooks.

My student days were in the 1980s and 1990s. Although reform and opening up have been implemented, for the rural areas, extracurricular books, and even bookstores, belong to tall things that are far away from themselves.

Although I heard that there was a Xinhua bookstore in the county, at that time, not to mention our children, even adults were very difficult to enter the county. In the eyes of adults, although the things in the county are good, they are very expensive, plus the round-trip fare, can not be crossed. The first time I entered the county town, I followed my mother to go to relatives and transfer from the county seat to take a car. As soon as you get out of the car, you will see the square next to the waiting bus, and you really have the freshness and curiosity of entering the city for the first time. My mother told me to see if there was a bus to Fanglou (my hometown). I looked up and there was a car in the distance. I immediately called my mother, "Here comes the car!" "On the bus, on the way home, I was still muttering, the first time I entered the county town, but I had never visited the county town." The mother smiled: "I was going to take you around, but when you said the car was coming, I took you to the car." "Thinking back on that detail, in today's parlance, it's a bit confusing.

In the town, there is actually a bookstore. In some previous articles, I have written that there are not many books, and it is rare to open the door once.

My high school was in the county seat, and naturally, I also left a book-related memory in my memory.

The county seat is not large, and the intersection is three or two. Take a bike ride and walk through the county seat in a few minutes. There is a Xinhua bookstore in the county seat, and there is also an individual bookstore. The name of the individual bookstore is not clear, but I remember it is next to the county cinema. That location should be regarded as the cultural center of the county. In this location, in addition to the prefectural cultural center, there are two video halls. Hong Kong films were popular in those days. At the entrance of the video hall, a blackboard was erected there, and the title of the Hong Kong film was written in multi-colored chalk. In order to attract business, the sound of the video hall is huge. The story about the video hall, wait until later to write separately, here will not be nagging.

In this individual bookstore, most of the teaching and auxiliary books are very rich, and the social science books are quite rich, which naturally attracts me. For a high school student who brings dried vegetables from home to school every week, the cost of living is very small. Naturally, I couldn't afford to buy books. So, on weekends, if I don't go home, I go to the bookstore. Although you can't afford to buy books and read books in bookstores, the boss won't rush. Of course, when I meet a book that I particularly like, I still can't help but buy it. For example, Lu Yao's "Ordinary World" and Hoda's "Muslim Funeral" were all bought by themselves.

Telling the story of the age group of the students and the book, the story of my hair Xiao Chen Song cannot be bypassed. I remember writing about it in some of my previous articles. At that time, he was studying secondary school in the provincial capital, the city where I worked and lived. Knowing that I love calligraphy, I specially used the weekend time to take a bus from the new district to the Xinhua Bookstore next to Bayi Square, bought a large bag of calligraphy posters for me to mail back. This set of posters has also become a teaching material for my calligraphy enlightenment.

The military era was when I read the most.

The recruit company ended, and I was assigned to Zhangzhou in southern Fujian. But whenever I take time off on weekends, I go to the bookstore. Xinhua Bookstore and "Xiaofeng Bookstore" are the ones I go to the most.

Someone said, "A bookstore is the best place to put your soul." The poetry and beauty in the world can be sublimated one by one in the fragrance of books. "The years of the military service, in our memory, are warm. It can be said that Xiaofeng Bookstore subverted my perception of bookstores. The bookstore is three floors up and down, and it is filled with all kinds of books, most of which are humanities and social sciences. Walk in, the cultural atmosphere comes to your face, and you feel very close at once. The bookstore is quiet, the soft lights shine on the shelves, you can lean aside, quietly reading, that feeling like in the library reading room, but also feel like in your own study, as if it is a spiritual station. Here, without anyone bothering you, stick up a book, you can drop everything, empty everything, immerse yourself in the book of the world of oblivion. My salary was neither high nor low at that stage, the army did not pay much, and most of the money seemed to be buying books. Reading more books, I also like words, to record some things, to express some unwilling feelings, in their own other world, let go of themselves, find a soul that has nowhere to put.

Later, I went to Beijing again. Comrades in arms in the same office like to read books, so Tianbing and I also went to the Capital Library to get a library card. Tianbing did not know where to get the news, there is a place, I can not remember the name of the place, a large number of books sold, not on the book to sell, but on the pound to sell. We both went there a few times and brought back dozens of pounds of books. So, by the time I switched jobs and went back to work, I had to check the books back in two marijuana bags.

Some people say that in a city, meeting a favorite bookstore is like meeting a thriller. Indeed, in this age of rapid information change, it seems that it has become a luxury to read a book quietly in a bookstore. But we all can not deny that the magic of paper and the charm of good books are always enough to impress people, and the touch of books turning pages at the fingertips, as well as the temperature in the text, always bring us freshness and satisfaction.

Some people say that Qingyuan Bookstore is a cultural business card of the city of Nanchang. I met Qingyuan Bookstore 8 years ago. With the advent of the information age, e-books and online shopping have forced the rapid degradation of old bookstores, and the operation of physical bookstores has been depressed. In that year, the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation issued the Notice on Continuing the Preferential Policies of Publicizing Cultural Value-Added Tax and Business Tax, which exempted the wholesale and retail sales of books from VAT for three years. Based on the introduction of this policy, I walked into the Qingyuan Bookstore in Jinyuan Domain and had a face-to-face conversation with the founder of the bookstore, Wan Guoying. After that interview, I went to Qingyuan Bookstore more often. After dinner, I walk around the bookstore and sometimes attend book clubs. It is particularly worth saying that in today's fragmented humanistic spirit, Qingyuan Bookstore insists on holding a public welfare book club, invisibly, bringing a clear stream to every book friend and the city, so that the clear source of humanities waters the reading landscape of the city, giving people temperature, strength and enthusiasm.

I especially like the concept of "personal study" proposed by Wan Guoying. When everything in the bookstore becomes more human, when it becomes more basic, your reading becomes more pure. This purity will inject you with a memory, change a way of life, and give you a new mental attitude.

Ben was writing the word "book", and it turned out that the words inside and outside were the stories of the bookstore. Books come from bookstores, and bookstores give you the enjoyment of reading. Because you meet a good bookstore, you will love to read; because you meet a good book, you will like this bookstore. Therefore, sometimes the encounter is just the right coincidence.

Time flies, in this era, you may wish to have leisure time, go into the bookstore, to open the books that make your heart move, those flexible words, will certainly give you a kind of warmth, let you willingly enjoy the good time given to you by books. At that time, the trance makes you feel that there seems to be nothing that a book can't solve. Books are like a well in the boundless desert, sweet and moist; also like a beam of light in the vast forest, bright and soft; like the stars in the vast night sky, fresh and dazzling; more like a lamp in the quiet harbor, warm and stable. Reading it will surely give you a hope, a hope for the future.

At this moment, I would also like to say that meeting a bookstore warms a period of sunshine; reading a good book enlightens a kind of wisdom.
