International Online News (reporters Ma Xiaoye and Wang Ruiying): On April 2, the award ceremony of the seventh "Cross-Strait Cutting-edge Design Competition • HC Semitek Award" with the theme of "Ronghe" was held in a combination of online and offline. A total of 911 winning works (sets) were selected in this competition, including 2 grand prize works (sets), which were won by the Chinese mainland designer Li Qiaoliang's work "Drum Little Wave" and Taiwanese designer Lin Qiaoping's work "Return to Love".
The event was co-sponsored by the China Higher Education Association, the China Zhongshan Cultural Exchange Association, the Beijing Gehua Cultural Development Group, and co-hosted by the Kunshan Municipal People's Government. The award ceremony was held in a combination of online and offline, with main venues in Beijing and Kunshan, and sub-venues in Taipei and Wuhan, and some of the winners participated in the meeting online. A total of 33,153 works (sets) from universities and social units on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, Hong Kong and Macao participated in this year's event, an increase of 185% over last year. The categories of the competition include visual communication design, digital multimedia design, product design, arts and crafts, space design, etc., and also organized the China Higher Education Expo, Beijing Gift, Huacan Canal Wumen Wangting, Dandelion Middle School "School as a Museum" cultural and creative products targeted theme collection. After the professional judges and industry judges from both sides of the Taiwan Straits, Hong Kong and Macao, 911 award-winning works (sets) were evaluated, including 2 works (sets) of the grand prize. In addition, 28 outstanding organizational units and 206 outstanding instructors were also evaluated.
