Live Bar April 1, the World Cup draw will be held in the early morning of the day, the team segments have been determined, when the lottery will determine the grouping.
The 32 teams (29 and 3 play-off teams) are divided into 1-4 blocks, with eight balls in each slot representing each team in the draw, and groups marked as A-H, each with a number of 1-4 balls. The draw starts from the first gear to the fourth gear, and when each team is drawn, a ball will also be drawn from the group, thus determining the position of each team. As hosts, Qatar will use balls of different colors and mark them as A1, with the other 7 teams in one slot automatically drawing lots to decide B1-H1.
In principle, with the exception of the European zone, which has 13 teams, there shall be no more than one team per qualifier division in each group. Each group must have at least one European team but no more than two, so there will be five groups in eight groups with two European teams. The same rule applies to European play-off winners and two Intercontinental Play-off winners.
The 2022 Qatar World Cup will open on 21 November and the final will be held on 18 December.
