In fiscal 2021, GAC Group produced 2,138,100 vehicles, up 5.08% year-on-year, and sold 2,144,400 new vehicles, up 4.92% year-on-year.
Among them, the annual sales of new energy vehicles were 142,900 units, an increase of 77.35% year-on-year, and the annual sales of energy-saving vehicles were 298,800 units, an increase of 43.63% year-on-year.
In addition, as of the end of 2021, the Group's total automobile production capacity will be 2.933 million units per year, and the new production capacity will mainly be the first phase of GAC Toyota's new energy vehicle production capacity expansion project (200,000 units/year production capacity).
In terms of R&D investment, the total amount of 5.156 billion yuan for the whole year, 2580 new patents in 2021, a total of 10620 patents, including 3861 invention applications.
