To further expand their gaming business, Shueisha announced that they had established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Shueisha (Shueisha GAMES) on February 16. The company currently has two main businesses, cooperation in the character design of mobile game projects, and the support of "Shueisha Game Producer CAMP".
Shueisha GAMES will launch new game plans in cooperation with large game companies, with manga artists from Shueisha's Weekly Shonen JUMP responsible for the character design of the game, and the game itself being developed by large game studios outside the company. The company is scheduled to release completely original works for mobile platforms.
At the same time, Shueisha's "Shueisha Game Producer CAMP" project to support game producers will be taken over and further strengthened by Shueisha GAMES in the future. The project is known to launch a number of games, all of which are scheduled to be released within this year.
