Today, the Portland Trail Blazers continue their NBA regular season journey against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Not much concern about the outcome of this game is no longer a concern, because the Thunder have long since lost the playoffs, and the Blazers are almost the same. After a head-to-head battle, the Thunder finally defeated the Trail Blazers 134-131 and won the game.
The Trail Blazers released a message ahead of this game that their Nurkic, Anfenni Simmons and Bledsoe were all reimbursed for the season. In fact, all three players have missed many games due to their respective injuries, and now seeing that there is basically no hope in the playoffs, they directly announced that they will not play this season.
The Blazers' approach to this is actually to rebuild, and they sent McCollum in the middle of the season and traded Powell. After playing against the Los Angeles Lakers on Jan. 1, Lillard also had abdominal surgery, which was basically a season reimbursement.
It's no surprise that the Blazers have been completely flat this season, but the Lakers may be the biggest victim. Both the Spurs and the Pelicans are direct competitors to the Lakers' play-off qualification, and if the Blazers take a non-resistive move and lose consecutively in the last minutes of the season, then the lakers will lose the most.
