According to videocardz, a new report from the 3DCenter team shows the lowest GPU prices in the history of the current generation of GPUs.
Since 3DCenter began analyzing graphics card pricing (January 2021), the latest graphics cards have never been cheaper. This means that the graphics card can eventually return to the price level originally expected, and there is good reason to believe that this will happen soon. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 and AMD Radeon RX 6000 series now have an average speed of 25% faster than the MSRP. This means that their prices are the lowest in 15 months.
While 3DCenter's price trend analysis focuses on the GPU markets in Germany and Austria, such prices are likely to be seen in other countries and regions.

The current price level corresponds to the pricing at the end of 2020. Since January of this year, AMD and NVIDIA GPUs have fallen by 20% to 10 percentage points in each price analysis.
According to TechRadar, retailers are still reluctant to predict when GPU prices will reach MSRP. However, the editorial team managed to push representatives of one of the "big name" retailers to say more. Tyler Davies from Box.co.uk expects GPU prices to be "attractive" to customers in May.
