Intel officially released the Core i9-12900KS: priced at $739 and available on April 5

Intel announced the official launch of the Core i9-12900KS, which will provide turbo frequencies up to 5.5 GHz, support for Intel Thermal Velocity Boost, and adopt Intel Adaptive Boost Technology (Intel ABT) to provide the ultimate gaming experience.

The Core i9-12900KS is equipped with 8 Performance Cores based on golden Cove architecture and 8 Efficient Cores based on Gracemont architecture, with 16 core and 24 thread specifications, configured with 30MB L3 cache and 14MB L2 cache, PL1/PL2 are 150W and 241W, supporting DDR4-3200 and DDR5-4800 , compatible with existing Z690 motherboards, it is recommended to use the latest version of the BIOS.

Intel said the Core i9-12900KS processor will be available on April 5, 2022, with a suggested retail price starting at $739 .708.47. Both as boxed processors are sold at retailers worldwide and integrated into systems from Intel channels and OEM partners.
