Manchester United interviewed two more candidates for a new manager, and Tenghag still has to wait! The owner, Glazer, favored Enrique

According to British media, Manchester United tried to meet with the new manager candidates for next season during the international match day break, and after Tenhag, they "interviewed" two other potential targets for the manager. The identities of the two coaches are not made public, but are believed to be between Paris Saint-Germain's Pochettino, Spain's Luis Henrique and Sevilla's Lopetegui.

Ajax boss Tenhag, who has taken the lead in completing his interview last Monday, has done well and has been recognised by Manchester United. However, the club has not yet provided a contract offer. English football journalist Edward Francis revealed over the weekend: "There is a verbal agreement between Tenhag and Manchester United, and the club may give an official offer as early as next Sunday. Tenhag has agreed to coach Manchester United and is now inviting him to coach, leaving only the formal contract given by Manchester United."

But Francis then stressed that United have not been identified as heading Tenhag. "A lot of people think what I'm saying is that Tenhag's coaching of Manchester United has been determined, but it's actually a long way off. All I'm saying is that Tenhag agreed to coach Manchester United, who may also choose to coach him in the coming days. If the paperwork is done this week, it can be said that the transaction is completed."

Understandably, every football journalist wants to be the first to confirm a new Manchester United manager, but reliable sources of coverage, such as Sky Sports and the BBC, have not made any movement, so the Red Devils are still far from determining a new manager.

According to the Daily Express, Manchester United's football director John Mertav and technical director Darren Fletcher have now interviewed a total of 3 new manager candidates. Renowned Manchester United correspondent Andy Mitten confirmed on the United podcast "United We Stand" that United had conducted two other interviews after meeting Tenhag.

Pochettino is believed to have held talks with Murtav, but there has been no follow-up since then. The only thing that is certain is that United want to identify a new manager before the end of the season.

The Daily Mail revealed that although Tenhag is currently the first choice for new managers, there are many people in the Manchester United team who support former Barca manager Enrique. Insiders revealed that the 51-year-old Enrique has another advantage, he coaches the national team, so United do not need to pay too much damage, just convince the coach himself.

The newspaper's football correspondent Mike Keegan insisted that Enrique was no outsider and that he could compete with Ten haag and Pochettino. 'Don't overlook Spain manager Enrique's chances of becoming United's next manager. Keegan explained, "From a financial point of view, he is attractive to the Glazer family because United do not have to pay high prices."

The Manchester United bosses glaze family know they have to pick the right manager for the team to quell the anger of the fans. A survey of 100,000 fans at 20 Premier League clubs showed glazer the least supportive owner, with only 4 per cent of fans believing the Red Devils boss was doing a good job, less than half as much as Newcastle United fans' approval of former boss Mike Ashley (10.8 per cent).

But Glazer also felt aggrieved, and in the 17 years since they joined the club, United have won five Premier League titles, 1 Champions League, 1 Europa League, 1 FA Cup and 4 League Cups, and set 4 transfer records, bringing in Pogba, Maguire, Lukaku and Sancho. But the vast majority of United's titles have been won by Verde, with only Mourinho winning two of the rest of the managers and Van Gaal winning a trophy. So Glazer has reason to believe that United are only one ideal manager away from a renaissance.
