Have a driver's license and prepare for the driver's license attention! From April 1, the driver's license scoring will be greatly adjusted!

Are you an old driver? How much do you know about traffic rules? Or maybe you're a prospective candidate preparing for a driver's license, so where are you going to master traffic rules?

Let me ask you a simple question: how many points should be deducted if you escape after a traffic accident that causes minor injuries or property damage, which does not constitute a crime? I believe that many people will say that no matter what the plot, as long as the hit-and-run must be deducted 12 points.

Admittedly, this is the case under the existing rules, but this will change after April 1. What has changed, and what other different changes have been made, you may wish to continue to look down!

Starting from April 1, there will be 6 point rules to make adjustments to the deduction of points: 1, driving a motor vehicle that does not conform to the quasi-driving type, from the existing deduction of 12 points to 9 points; 2, driving a motor vehicle that does not avoid school buses in accordance with the regulations, from the existing deduction of 6 points to 3 points; 3, driving a motor vehicle in violation of the prohibition signs, prohibition marking instructions, from the existing deduction of 3 points to 1 point; 4, after causing a traffic accident, fleeing, has not yet constituted a crime, from the existing deduction of 12 points to adjust, according to the actual situation There are two kinds of deductions - 12 points are deducted for fleeing after a traffic accident that causes minor injuries or death, which does not yet constitute a crime, and 6 points for escaping after a traffic accident that causes minor injuries or property damage;

5. If a motor vehicle driving on the road does not hang a motor vehicle number plate, or deliberately obscures, defaces, or does not install a motor vehicle number plate in accordance with the regulations, it is adjusted from the original deduction of 12 points, and there are two deductions according to the actual situation - 9 points are deducted for driving a motor vehicle that does not hang the motor vehicle number plate or deliberately obscures or defaces the motor vehicle number plate; 3 points are deducted for driving a motor vehicle that does not install a motor vehicle number plate in accordance with the regulations;

6. If the motor vehicle driving on the road does not carry out safety technical inspection on a regular basis in accordance with the regulations, it will be adjusted from the original deduction of 3 points, and there are two deductions according to the actual situation - 3 points for driving a highway passenger car, tourist passenger car, and dangerous goods transport vehicle that does not carry out safety technical inspection regularly in accordance with the regulations; 1 point is deducted for driving a highway passenger car, tourist passenger car, and dangerous goods transport vehicle other than a highway passenger car, tourist passenger car, and dangerous goods transport vehicle that does not carry out safety technical inspection regularly in accordance with the regulations.

Starting from April 1, there will be two point rules to make adjustments to the deduction of points: 1. When driving a motor vehicle encounters a vehicle in front of the vehicle parking queue or driving slowly, if it overtakes by way or occupies the opposite lane and intersperses the waiting vehicle, it will be increased from the existing deduction of 2 points to 3 points; 2. Driving a motor vehicle that interferes with safe driving such as dialing and answering handheld phones will be upgraded from the existing deduction of 2 points to 3 points.

Since April 1, there have been many changes in the terms, a considerable part of which are concentrated on the bus, and here we mainly screen out some of the changes in the terms applicable to passenger cars to share with you. 1. Driving a motor vehicle to reverse, retrograde, or cross the central divider belt to make a U-turn is deducted 12 points, and the urban expressway section is added to the scene, that is, the above illegal operations are made in the urban expressway section, and 12 points are deducted.

2. 3 points are deducted for driving a motor vehicle that does not overtake or give way in accordance with the regulations, or drives in the opposite direction, and is changed to 3 points for driving a motor vehicle that does not overtake or give way according to the regulations, or goes backwards on the highway or urban expressway. 3. When driving a motor vehicle on a highway or urban expressway, the driver who does not wear a seat belt according to the regulations will be deducted 2 points, expanded to all roads and the deduction points will be reduced, that is, as long as the driver is on the road without wearing a seat belt, 1 point will be deducted.

4. 1 point is deducted for driving a motor vehicle that does not meet the regulations, and is expanded to 1 point for driving a motor vehicle that does not meet the regulations, or does not reverse or turn around in accordance with the regulations on the highway or urban expressway.

In addition to the above four changes, two new articles have been added, namely 1, 12 points for accepting penalties for traffic violations and scoring points for economic benefits in lieu of actual motor vehicle drivers; 2. 9 points for driving a motor vehicle on highways or urban expressways. At the same time, a considerable number of non-applicable provisions have also been removed in this scoring rule change, mainly the following 5 items:

In low visibility weather conditions, driving a motor vehicle on the highway is not in accordance with the regulations

Obtain a motor vehicle driver's license by concealment or deception

Driving a motor vehicle that is prohibited from entering the highway is entering the highway

Driving a motor vehicle through an intersection without following the regulations or stopping

Motor vehicles driving on the road are not placed with inspection pass signs and insurance signs, and they do not carry driving licenses and motor vehicle driving licenses with them

In fact, the change of the scoring rules is mainly concentrated in two aspects, one is to enrich and specify the original content, so that the applicable scenarios become clearer and more realistic car use scenarios; the other is to add 9 points and delete illegal acts such as deducting 2 points, so that the deduction of points becomes more flexible, and can make different deductions for different scenarios, not to be killed with a stick. In essence, it can be seen that this innovation is an adjustment made to the people's car habits, and I personally think it is still very reasonable.
