Irrigation丨 2022 NBA Awards Ceremony! Welcome to punch in the face

The NBA regular season is coming to an end, and it's been a very interesting season, with both the East and West leagues full of storylines and performances from top stars. In the final weeks of the year, the attribution of the year's major awards was announced. Unsurprisingly, there will be fierce competition for each award, and there will be some outstanding talents who will stand out.

It is widely believed that there is a final MVP battle between Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo, but thanks to the wonderful performances of the past few weeks, some new blood is also on the list. As for Rookie of the Year, the rise of Jaylen Green and the stability of Scotty Barnes have made Evan Mobley, the best rookie since the All-Star Game, also feel like a needle in the haystack.

Unsurprisingly, the list predicted by Slam Dunk Jun will be the winners of this year's various awards.

(If something is wrong, you're welcome to punch you in the face!) )

Most Valuable Player of the Year: Joel Embiid

( 29.8 points 11.3 rebounds 4.3 assists 1.1 steals 1.4 blocks)

Joel Embiid is bound to become the MVP of the year at the end of the season as his team has a better record than the Denver Nuggets and Milwaukee Bucks. According to the niao nature before the alliance, the new king will be crowned to the throne! After all, of the three, Embiid is more storytelling. With the team without second-in-command Ben Simmons, Embiid was forced to take on heavy responsibilities. Generally speaking, losing a player like Simmons usually kills a team's chances of winning the title, but Embiid kept the team going.

The big man set career highs in both individual and averages and led Philadelphia to number one in the Eastern Conference. Nikola Jokic has always been the MVP of the Nuggets, but the Nuggets' record is not ideal, temporarily ranking 6th in the West. For most of the season, Jokic has occupied both first and second places in MVP competitions, but the team's record situation will keep enough voters out of him. Another contender, Alphabet Cobbie Embiid, got more help, while the Bucks' slow start to the season slightly ruined his chances. So, the slam dunk jun is still expecting Joel Embiid to win his first MVP award.

Defensive Player of the Year: Bam Adebayo

( 19.2 points 10.2 rebounds 3.5 assists 1.5 steals 0.8 blocks)

Bam Adebayo is as good as Jimmy Butler and Eric Spoolstra's leadership at the Miami Heat, and his defense is arguably the most pivotal part of the Miami Heat's season start. Despite being slightly short in the centre position, Adebayor has an excellent positioning on the defensive end and is a great 1v1 defender. Spoelstra has been raving about Adebayor for several seasons.

Under the basket, Adebayor has been fighting for shooting opportunities and rebounding for Miami. The Heat are already a defensively strong team, but Adebayor has taken them to another level. If the Heat's center missed the award because Rudy Goebbels followed, it could come down to the Frenchman's late surge. Alphabet Brother's efforts are also commendable, as someone who can defend all five positions as needed. But Gobert may not have done enough to win his fourth Defensive Player of the Year award, and Alphabet Brother hasn't had the same impact on the team as Adebayor.

Rookie of the Year: Evan Mobley

( 15.1 points 8.3 rebounds 2.5 assists 0.8 steals 1.7 blocks)

The Rookie of the Year contest is the hardest of these awards to choose, as there are two outstanding rookies, Evan Mobley and Scotty Barnes. Mobley is a block center with all-Star offensive skills, including jump shots and basket moves. Thanks to Mobley's presence, his twin towers with Jarrett Allen made the Cleveland Cavaliers a surprising playoff team.

Scotty Barnes is a slim finish, as his average of 15.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game is truly impressive. In addition to Fred VanVleet, Scotty Barnes has been at the top of the Toronto Raptors. But in terms of the impact of the team, it is Mobley who has the greatest influence.

Sixth Man of the Year: Taylor Hilo

( 20.9 points 4.8 rebounds 3.8 assists 0.7 steals 0.1 blocks)

The only person to win the award with overwhelming percentage was Taylor Hiro's sixth man of the year. He averaged a career-high 20.9 points per game and a 39.1 percent three-point shooting rate in the East, while Miami has relied on Hiro's offense for much of the season. As an elite shooter who deserves a top-paying contract, Shearer is undoubtedly the best sixth man in the league.

Most Improved Player of the Year: Ja Morant

( 27.6 points 5.7 rebounds 6.7 assists 1.2 steals 0.4 blocks)

Ja Morant has made his name as a Western Conference All-Star starter, and he is the league's second-best guard after Stephen Curry. Morant is an athletic point guard with unlimited power, and he has gone from a budding All-Star to a superstar in the league. Thanks to Morant's leadership and unstoppable offensive ability, the Memphis Grizzlies maintain a second-best record in the West.

As a qualified MVP candidate, Ja Morant is likely to win the fastest improved player as his first award of the season. Morant is already being compared to the great Aaron Iverson, which means he could be inducted into the Hall of Fame in the future.

Coach of the Year: Monty Williams

60 wins, 14 losses (1st in the West, 1st in the league)

There are some great coaches in the league this season, but only 3 coaches have a chance of being nominated for coach of the year: Monty Williams, Eric Spoolstra and Taylor Jenkins. Of these, Monty Williams is the most popular because he is the coach of the best team in the West and the entire league.

The Suns are firmly seated as the number one seed, and despite robert Sapper's controversy and Chris Paul's injury, Williams has kept the Suns intact as a title contender.

I wonder what the different opinions of the friends are? Feel free to share your predictions in the comments section!
