Pippen has expressed concern about the Bulls' playoff journey next season
Last season the Chicago Bulls took a big step in their quest for their seventh championship. They got Demar DeRozan in the offseason, putting them straight into the playoffs. Unfortunately for them, their season ended early in the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks due to injuries and other factors. Still, there is reason to be optimistic about the team. And Bulls star Pippen said:
"I think [in] the playoffs, they're kind of back in the last 10 or 15 years. They're just not a team built for the playoffs," Pippen said. 'They have had some injuries this year, but other teams are continuing to improve.
Pippen also pointed to rising talent in the Eastern Conference, including players like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid. The appearance of these guys, and the Relative Silence of the Bulls in the offseason, led Pippen to believe they wouldn't go too far. While this sounds like a harsh statement, there is a lot of truth in that statement.
So far, in his career, Demar DeRozan has yet to prove that he can dominate in the playoffs. Until the Bulls find an equally dominant player in the playoffs, they probably won't go too far. Maybe...... They can launch an assault on a disgruntled star in Brooklyn! #风船计划2.0# #nba吐槽大会 #
