People are in the unit, the heart is at home, and I really don't want to go to that broken shift for a day?

In a modern office building, I was like a typical professional warrior, wearing armor (suit) and holding a weapon (laptop), ready for a new round of challenges (meetings). However, my heart is like being pulled by an invisible red thread, and I always want to drift back to that warm little nest - my home.

"People are in the unit, the heart is at home", this sentence expresses the inner contradictions and helplessness of many office workers. From Monday to Friday, we are the hardworking little bees in the office, but on the weekend, the heart that wants to break free starts to stir. This mood is at its peak, especially when we have to work overtime on weekends.

"I really want to go back to my little home, eat, drink, and lie down~" This is simply the soul cry of the migrant workers every weekend! Home is the place where you can slip on the sofa and relax to your heart's content, the warm corner where you can lie on the sofa and enjoy the afternoon sunshine, and the private paradise where you can eat snacks and sing loudly without any image.

Working on the weekend is like a camel trapped in the desert, looking at an oasis in the distance but not being able to get there. We aspire to break free from the shackles of keyboards and screens and plunge into the real embrace of life. But after thinking about it, perhaps it is this deep longing for home that makes the harbor of home seem more warm and precious.

So, dear colleagues, let's approach the weekend with a lighthearted and humorous attitude. Imagine the moment you finish work and open the door of your home, does that joy of release make all the effort worthwhile? Well, at least we can comfort ourselves in this way. Photo courtesy of @dq
