Experiment 1: Cargo loading
One thing is mentioned in the updated introduction to the "transport ship" Chest Boat: the transport ship can interact with the funnel normally.
Based on this characteristic, we can reasonably speculate that in the process of driving the transport ship, the player can achieve "item loading" as long as the box and funnel of the box ship are docked, and even when they do not get off the ship. So what is the actual situation?
The funnel itself has two properties, one of which can be used as a storage tool, and the funnel itself has 5 inventory slots as storage space. Second, as a transmission tool, when the "output" tube at the bottom of the funnel is pointed down or docked to the same side into the box (the output direction can be visually seen), the items in the funnel can be transferred to the box.
After testing, when the funnel is laterally docked to the box on the transport ship at the same horizontal plane, the item can be normally transported to the transport ship. During this process, the player does not need to disembark. Items can be exchanged while driving the whole time.
Experiment 2: Funnel space transfer
Due to the deep draft of the transport ship, it will cause the ship and the box to sink by about 0.5 blocks. So with the funnel 0.5 blocks away from the box ship, can the items in the funnel be smoothly transferred to the box across the "space"?

Experiment Three: Thrower
Many players may not know the role of the thrower in Minecraft, and one of the biggest differences between the thrower and the launcher is that the thrower can throw items directly into a container. So can the player, while driving a transport ship, transfer items directly through the thrower into the transmitted chest?
Experimental results: When the player is driving a transport ship, even if the player does not get off the ship, the player can realize the transmission of items over a longer distance than the funnel.
Experiment 4: Transport ship unloading
After talking about the three ways to load goods on Minecraft transport ships, one question is worth pondering: Do box ships support fully automatic unloading?
Below the funnel is the output, and above the funnel is the input. Placing a chest above the input side allows the box's items to be "leaked" into the funnel. So if we replace the boxes with transport ships, can we unload the goods fully automatically? You know, the laziness of mc players is that they can never click more than one mouse without doing it! (In fact, it is precisely because of human laziness that the development and progress of science is promoted.) ）
This time, we placed one of the easiest collection tools underwater, "Funnel + Chest". The result was also as we suspected, and all the items in the transport ship were smoothly "unloaded" into the funnel and box.
In fact, the current characteristics and naming of transport ships are in a sense benchmarking minecarts, so the new gameplay based on "transport ships" that can be explored is definitely no less than that of transporting minecarts. For example, the iron brushing machine, monster spawning tower, witch farm, etc., which run on the other side of the river all year round, are linked with transport ships to create a complete transportation system.
