In order to optimize the customer experience and traffic efficiency of the robot during the peak period of the restaurant, the delivery robot "Qiaole Delivery" launched this time has carried out targeted upgrades and innovations in terms of function, performance, design and human-computer interaction under the premise of inheriting the excellent performance of the previous generation of products.

Through the fusion of laser projection and multimodal interactions such as sound, expression, and light, "Qiaole Send" realizes the feedback and transmission of the robot's driving intention, and finally realizes the distribution of right-of-way between the robot and the pedestrian. Thanks to the three RGBD depth sensors, dual RGB cameras and dual lidar efficient fusion solutions, as well as the computing power support of up to 15TOPS, "Qiaole Send" is endowed with a strong backward perception ability. After identifying the person coming from behind, "Qiaole Send" actively moves to the side and forward to leave a passage, which can effectively solve the problem of pedestrians being blocked because the robot and the human speed are slower than the human speed when the robot and the person pass in the same direction. Different from most existing food delivery robots on the market, "Qiaole Delivery" with backward perception ability can perform wide-area perception, and then achieve autonomous multi-directional avoidance, even in a highly dynamic complex environment such as a restaurant.

It is worth mentioning that based on the in-depth optimization of the peak period algorithm, Purdue Technology is committed to building "Qiaole Delivery" into "5S" distribution. "5S" corresponds to five dimensions, namely Swift, which has greatly improved its speed and agility; Stable, which runs more smoothly overall; Safe, which has a special population recognition algorithm, which is both safe and warm; Smart, an innovative multimodal interaction that brings customers a smarter and more convenient experience; sociable, redefining the social relationship between robots and people. This provides an important guarantee for the smooth and unimpeded delivery of "Qiaole Delivery" during peak periods.

Compared with the previous products, "Qiaole Delivery" has made a breakthrough upgrade in positioning and navigation technology. On the basis of code navigation and laser SLAM navigation, "Qiaole Send" also has a version that supports visual SLAM navigation. Visual SLAM is the acquisition, recording and feature extraction of roof images through visual cameras, and the mapping relationship between robot driving map coordinates and roof images is established through deep learning algorithms, which can be combined with laser SLAM to enhance the reliability of robot positioning and site adaptability. Thanks to the visual SLAM navigation technology, "Qiaole Delivery" is more fearless of shuttling through high-dynamic places with more complex environments, and can cover more diverse venue types, and customers can flexibly choose different positioning methods according to the specific conditions of the venue.

In terms of the interconnection of all things, "Qiaole Delivery" can be wirelessly connected with IoT devices such as elevators, gates, access control and communications to achieve full interconnection, so as to realize autonomous elevator and cross-floor distribution, truly open up the "last hundred meters" of distribution, effectively solve the terminal distribution problem, and refresh the new height of distribution services.

In terms of appearance, "Qiaole Delivery" has standard and open models for stores to choose from. Among them, the standard model is equipped with an intelligent double-open gull wing door design that is unique in the industry, which can meet the needs of places with high requirements for privacy and health safety, and effectively ensure the safety and hygiene of dish distribution.
