
Today is the 27th World TB Day, and the theme of this year's campaign is "Life First, Action for All, Shared Health, End TB".
Tuberculosis is known to be one of the deadliest infectious disease killers in the world today. Globally, more than 4,100 people die every day from TB and nearly 28,000 suffer from this preventable and curable disease. Since 2000, global efforts to fight TB have saved some 66 million lives.
