Does that mean that as long as you are infected with TUBERCULO bacteria, you will cause tuberculosis?
In fact, after the tuberculosis bacteria enter the human body, there will be the following three outcomes.
Outcome 1:
Tuberculosis bacillus virulence is weak, human resistance is strong, human resistance will be directly killed by tuberculosis bacilli, the human body does not have any symptoms, will not be sick, not detected by us.
Outcome 2:
The human body's resistance is weak, such as just after surgery, and the tuberculosis bacteria are strongly virulent, then the tuberculosis bacteria will multiply in large quantities in the human body, and the human body will suffer from tuberculosis.
Outcome Three:
The virulence of Mycobacterium tuberculosis is in a state of balance with the body's resistance.
At this time, the tuberculosis bacillus is very clever, it pretends to be asleep, which is medically called sleep. When the human body finds the tuberculosis bacteria sleeping, it will think that it is not a threat and does not attack it.
But this dormancy is temporary, and then if the body's resistance suddenly drops, the dormant tuberculosis bacteria can re-energize and multiply.
For the latter two cases, we all need to actively intervene and treat.
