Polk fights the Poison King with 1 million knives to see who wins the bracelet this year

The worst retiree in poker history is back, and Doug Polk launches a 1 million knife bracelet challenge to Tom Dwan.

Polk's assessment of Poison King last week caused controversy, arguing that Poison King didn't deserve a place on his list of the greatest poker players of all time.

Under the arch of Shaun Deeb, Polk said he would be happy to challenge the 1 million knife bracelet with the Poison King at this year's WSOP to see who can win the gold bracelet.

It's a relatively safe challenge, as Poison King often doesn't react to these things, and neither player is known for MTT.

Doug Polk: The odds of him agreeing are zero, but I'm willing to compete with @Tom Dwan in the WSOP in 2022 to see who can get more bracelets. Maybe Tom could contribute 500,000, and the rest would be funded by fans or wealthy Asian businessmen.

After this tweet, Shaun Deeb commented below: If the @Tom Dwan VS @DougPolk WSOP bracelet challenge can really be achieved, I am more optimistic about Tom. Over the years, his skill and logic have impressed me in multiple races.

More fan comments said that they hope this will eventually be upgraded to a Durrrrr/Doug Polk head-to-head challenge. Polk also replied.

Doug Polk: I hope that doesn't happen. Live MTT is one thing, heads-up is another. Especially with knowledge of his history, he was a very formidable opponent. If you have to, do it for the fans. It's going to be a tough challenge, but I'm still willing to add 1 million to a 25k hand.

The beginning of a new competition?

It's all a bit like his head-to-head with Dan Niu. Polk forced Danniu for several years and eventually managed to get Danniu into a head-to-head match that cost him 1.2 million knives, and they eventually became friends. In fact, what really excites Poker is not poker, but the dueling and feuding side of the game.

Doug Polk: My favorite part of poker is playing against people. Always like to take on someone's challenge in a well-known battle. Sometimes, I have to be a little more picky, but as long as there is the right person, I will always put my money in my mouth.

Although the possibility of the Poison King fighting is unlikely, just like before we never thought to see Pok against Danniu. So, will this be the beginning of another feud?
