Interior decoration, exhibition hall layout and under-bridge space decoration are currently underway, and it is expected to be open to the public before the Asian Games.
The Rosewood Museum is located on the southeast side of the intersection of Dengyun Road and Xiaohe Road in Gongshu District, and at the south entrance of the Qiaoxi Historical and Cultural Block, with a total construction area of more than 4,000 square meters. Its shape is very special, and it looks like an unfolded scroll from a distance.
After the completion of the museum, it will become a city model point for the protection, display and exchange, academic research, public education, promotion and dissemination of rosewood culture, wood culture gathering place and traditional handicraft protection, inheritance and innovation.

The museum has five floors, and the first floor is equipped with canal study rooms, carpentry workshops, and some cultural and creative products on display, where citizens and tourists can read and rest.

On the second floor is the museum's service hall and a time corridor about 40 meters long. The third floor is a permanent exhibition hall of rosewood culture, which will display the material characteristics, craftsmanship, application, cultural history and so on of rosewood.

The fourth floor will be a theme exhibition hall, the masters can put their own rosewood boutiques here to display, the exhibition hall will also have an antique pavilion, will put the treasure of the town hall; the fifth floor is the Chinese furniture quasi-restoration exhibition hall, will restore some celebrity furniture placement scenes, such as the middle hall, living room, study, tea room, etc.

It is worth mentioning that under the bridge on the south side of Dengyun Bridge, a wooden square of more than 1500 square meters will be built, which will be integrated with the indoor rosewood museum to form a new cultural cluster. In the future, there will be another new experience point for the Grand Canal to visit and have fun.

In the future, out of the museum, walking to the canal, you can see hundreds of meters long Lu Ban ruler cultural corridor, along the way you can also see wood tools, wood specimens, wood crafts, etc., the space under the bridge will create an independent wood master workshop in the future, citizens and tourists can also see the traditional cultural performance here, through this corridor to the bridge West Straight Street is like "crossing".
In Gongshu, on both sides of the Gongchen Bridge, there is a "national brand" museum group with a large scale and high density, which is very rare in the country: the China Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Museum, the Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum, the Chinese Knife and Scissors Museum, the Umbrella Museum, the Fan Museum, as well as the Handicraft Living Museum of Intangible Cultural Heritage, the Grand Canal of China Gongchen Bridge West History and Culture Museum... Today, the addition of the Grand Canal Rosewood Museum has given it more cultural "accumulation".
