Over the past few days, the digital store of Nintendo's home console Wii has been experiencing access issues, with players reporting that it is now impossible to access its digital store for unknown reasons.

Allegedly, when launching eshop, it will not be possible to open and see a blank screen. After a long wait, it will eventually be the relentless error code to dissuade the player. There is no other way but to manually return to the main menu.
Nintendo's online maintenance page doesn't mention any issues. Media GameXplain also conducted a study, noting that regions such as Europe outside of North America will encounter the same problem.
However, there are also some players who think that this situation is not important. After all, the Wii is already a game console of the previous generation. After the Wii, Nintendo released the Wii U and Switch, the latter being Nintendo's current focus (and the focus of more gamers).
Wii's digital store is closed to the buying service in 2019, but people who have already purchased content before will still be able to access and download the content they purchased. Given the current situation, downloading content has become impossible. Nintendo did previously say that the download service would be discontinued "at some point," but there was no announcement about a specific date.
As for the current state of the Wii digital store, it's unclear what's going on. It is possible to fix it in a few days. But on Nintendo's maintenance page, there is no explanation of the problem and no information about when it will be back up and running.
In addition, Nintendo just announced last month that it will have a purchase service for the Wii U and 3DS digital stores in March 2023, but will still be able to download purchased content.
