About the Author:
Xu Jianhua, a scholar of sexual comedy and Chinese painting and calligraphy, has published a series of articles on famous Chinese calligraphy and painting in Jiefang Daily, Wen Wei Po, Xinmin Evening News, Tuanjie Bao, Shanghai Dae art (magazine, monthly) and Taiwan Daguan magazine, as well as oriental morning newspaper and the surging news. Since 2015, he has successively published "Notes on the Painting Circle of Famous Scholars- Notes on the Painting Circle of Jianhua" (Shanghai Calligraphy and Painting Publishing House, September 2015, first edition), editor-in-chief of "Dafengtang Yu ze--- Zhang DaqianShu Zha Thirty-Five Links" (Zhejiang Renmei Publishing House, July 2018 first edition), "Shen Yinmo on books and poems" (Zhejiang Fine Arts Publishing House, April 2020, first edition), "Mr. Chen Julai's Self-printed Manuscript" (Xilingshe Publishing House, May 2020, first edition), "A Glimpse of the Mountains and Small Genealogy" (Zhejiang Renmei, April 2020, first edition) and other books. Mr. Xu Jianhua is a well-known collector and critic of contemporary Chinese painting and calligraphy seal engraving in Shanghai, and his "Notes on the Painting World", "The Flow of Celebrities", was published by Shanghai Calligraphy and Painting Publishing House in 2015 and became popular.
In my impression, this book has been an important topic of conversation at teacher-friend gatherings for several years, and it has been praised by all. One thing seems to be more evidence of the book's attention: not long after the book was published, there were imitations or forgeries on the market based on the famous paintings published in it. The author, Mr. Xu Jianhua, can only laugh at it.
After being instructed to write this text, I have been thinking about how to introduce mr. Xu Jianhua in my mind to the readers. I found that this was by no means an easy task that I had imagined. Mr. Jianhua's own business is the official in charge of foreign investment of the Shanghai Municipal Government, and he has worked hard for the reform and opening up and investment promotion in the critical period of Shanghai. However, in my not-so-sparse interaction with him, I rarely saw him talk about this aspect, and almost all he did was the truth of the contemporary art world: praise and praise for the artists of the previous generations and talents of the younger generations, the knowledge of the past and present lives of a certain work, and the elegant, rational, and cold analysis of the current fashion.
In the depths of my heart, Mr. Xu Jianhua is a trickle of clear water in the current secular world, quietly and soothingly flowing between the friends and friends of the art world, calm and refreshing.

The author of the preface to the first edition is Mr. Xie Dingwei, the philosopher of Mr. Xie Zhiliu and Mr. Chen Peiqiu. Mr. Dingwei wrote: "Brother Jianhua loved traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy since he was a child, but he did not write or paint himself, and claimed to be a 'player'. But his play is different from today's calligraphy and painting collectors. "I met a group of famous calligraphers and painters by chance, and only then did I get in the circle of painting and calligraphy at sea."
'Play' opened. Therefore, Jianhua Brother's play is to 'play' with famous artists first, and then 'play' with calligraphy and painting. His 'player' experience is legendary. ”
I think that the four words of "love", "play", "fate" and "odd" in Mr. Dingwei's text are the best description of Mr. Jianhua.

Ordinary people are afraid that they will first be shocked by the essence of Mr. Jianhua's collection, in fact, "essence" is probably not enough to describe, "strange" Shu can deserve it. Mr. Jianhua's collection is mostly related to the life experience of the famous celebrities in "The Flow of Famous Scholars", which is not only a masterpiece of calligraphy and painting, but also an important contemporary historical material of traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy. And I think that this is exactly where Mr. Jianhua's "play", unique and super-Maqunlun is.

Are these ordinary collections, or are they masterpieces of masters in the usual sense?
In the final analysis, Mr. Jianhua's "strange" "play" must take "love" as the "fate". This "love" is not only the "love" of daily speech, but must be based on the same personality, behavior, and aesthetic tastes. All these things are complete and become their "conditions."

Mr. Xu Yunshu inscribed Mr. Liu Danzhai "Red Chamber Qunfang Tu": "Mr. Danzhai is temperamental, dashing, excellent in character, and the charm of the next pen is also followed." The ancients' cloud calligraphy and painting were both heavy in essence and heavy on people, and they did not believe in false accusations. This passage is naturally Mr. Liu Danzhai, but it is also the most appropriate portrayal of the celebrities in "Celebrity Flow".
Although Mr. Jianhua "does not write or paint himself", he himself, who has long been a celebrity, is also worthy of the reputation of a celebrity because of "love", "play", "fate" and "strangeness". Therefore, Mr. Jianhua wrote "Celebrity Flow".
In the middle of the night, when everything is silent, a cup of tea, I often read "Celebrity Flow", and I always smile, accompanied by deep touch. The re-edition of "Celebrity Winds" has been supplemented for "Smell and Experience in the Maritime Painting World", and I believe that readers will have the same experience.
