In the twelfth year of Chunxi (1185), Yue Lin served as the judge of Chuan, and in the sixteenth year of Chunxi (1189), he served as Tai Changqing, Zuo Shilangzhonghe and other official positions such as Feng Chunku, and the officials went to the imperial court to ask for the doctor, Shiwenge shilang, the soldier shilang, the Guangdong Jingluo pacification envoy, the Taizhong doctor, Yue Lin and Zhu Xi, Zhang Shi as friends, with the help of all parties, that is, began to collect Yue Fei's remains and revise them into books.

Yue Fei's grandson Yue Ke clearly stated in the "History of Zhao Xiguang Festival" volume II" that "Shao Xi NongZi Dong, the first gentleman lost the museum yu Guang, Yu Fu was ten years old, and the mourner returned to the north." The purpose of escorting the funeral to the north is to bury Yue Lin. Yue Lin was buried on the side of the Xianzu Nunnery in Tangmen Village, forty miles east of Yixing County, Jiangsu Province, accompanied by Yue Fei to the north of the crown tomb. Yue Fei's crown tomb was buried on a natural "Golden Hook Fishing Moon" ground behind the Tangmen Bridge.
