Huang Jingren (1749–1783), courtesy name Zhongze, was a poet of the Qianlong Dynasty in the Qing Dynasty, a native of Wujin County, Changzhou (present-day Wujin District, Changzhou, Jiangsu), and a descendant of the Northern Song Dynasty writer Huang Tingjian.
Huang Zhongze had a poetic name when he was a teenager, and his poetics Li Bai, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty, composed a seven-character poem in the style of "poetry immortals", and he once improvised a seven-word long poem in the Taibai Building of Quarry Rock, when people marveled at the rebirth of "poetry immortals", and the paper was expensive for a while.
Huang Zhong lost his father at an early age, his family was poor, and since he was a teenager, he had been running around for a living, and he was poor all his life.
Because of the poor life, Huang Zhongze's poems are mostly to express the feelings of poverty and loneliness, although he only lived for 35 years, he left us more than 1,100 poems, and the capital is wonderful.
In the thirty-sixth year of Qianlong (1771), Zhu Jun,the newly appointed scholar of Anhui (a Bibliophile of the Qing Dynasty), inspected Taiping and visited Shen Yefu in the same year, and when he heard that the young poet Huang Zhongze was also in Shen Mansion, he threw a prayer sticker, and Huang Zhong then came to see Zhu Yun as a disciple and became his guest of honor.
The following year, Zhu Yun and his friends and friends gathered at the Taibai Building of the Quarry Rock to meet friends with poetry. At that time, Huang Zhong was only the youngest, and he stood by the river in a white robe, improvising poems and composing a seven-word poem:

This poem rhymes elegantly, with great pride, the rivers in front of you are like practice, the mountains are like belts, the sails are like stars, the sentences are like the pen of God, when the guests read it, they were amazed, they put down their pens, did not dare to write poems again, called "poetry immortals" resurrection!
Zhu Jun's son Zhu Xigeng also participated in the event and recorded Huang Zhongze's style at that time:
"Shi Fang Qiuji, the first doctor summoned guests to climb Cui Luo Peak, and Zhang Yan was too white downstairs. After setting up the banquet, Huang Sheng stood alone on the top of the cliff, the river breeze blew his clothes, and the clouds fluttered. That is, when you are seated, the guests say: 'Do not go untitled today.' 'Huang Sheng calmly produced plain paper for long sentences, sprinkled with more than a hundred rhymes, the wine was not made, it was exciting and magnificent, and the salty immortals were revived, so they all put their pens on hold. ”
Through this text, we seem to see Huang Zhongze, who is only 24 years old, standing tall, floating, and extremely talented, writing the above long poem by hand, as if the "poetry immortal" is coming again, which is fascinating.
Huang Zhongze's confidant Hong Liangji (Zi Zhicun) was also a guest of honor in the Zhu Mansion at that time, and he also saw the most shining moment in Huang Zhongze's life, and this scene also remained in his heart forever, and many years later, he wrote in "Huang Junxing", and there was also a period of nostalgia and admiration:
"In March, I will go to the Taibai Building of the Quarry." There are more than a dozen poets, the youngest of the jun, in the shadow of the sun, hundreds of words in an instant, favoring the guest, and the guest quitting the pen. When the Eight Houses of Shizi tried to be Painted with word endowments, the messengers of the Wenxue Envoy Gao Hui, Bi Ji downstairs, to the Xian from Xi Tong begging white clothes juvenile poems were actually written, and the paper was expensive for a while. ”
The sì river is Zhu Yun's number, so it is said to be "Mr. Sì River". Zhu Yun also looked at Huang Zhong at that time and exclaimed, "Huang Junzhen Immortal Zhongren is also a person!" ”
"Please throw the scroll of poetry into the river, and it will not flow with the east of the river!" At this time, Huang Zhong was only 24 years old, and he wrote such wonderful poems, just like the "Preface to the Tengwang Pavilion" improvised by Wang Bo, one of the "Four Masters of the Early Tang Dynasty", which became a good story for a while.
Among the poets of all generations, Huang Zhongze learned From Li Bai to write poetry the most, and his reputation as "Li Bai of the Qing Dynasty" is also well-founded.
In the thirty-second year of Qianlong (1767), Huang Zhong, who was only 18 years old, was invited by pan Ke, the master of his boy examination, to travel to Hangzhou, personally experienced the magnificent waves of the autumn tide in Qiantang, and wrote two seven ancient poems, "Guan Chao Xing" and "Hou Guan Chao Xing", because these two poems are long and limited in length, this article is no longer reprinted, and interested readers can read them by themselves.
After reading these two poems by Huang Zhongze, the scholar of the same era, Yuan Ming, wrote a poem "On the Imitation of the Yuan Relic Mountain":
Changzhou astrological juwenchang, Hong Gu Sun Yang are good at each other.

In this poem, Yuan Zhong praised Huang Zhong as "li bai now", and this thesis, since the date yuan mei put forward, no one has raised objections, and no one in later generations has denied it, so it can be seen that Huang Zhong is praised as "Li Bai of the Qing Dynasty", which is well deserved.
