Apple today began selling certified refurbished iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models in the United States for the first time since its release in late 2020, according to foreign media macrumors.

In the U.S., only the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models are currently available for refurbishment, and there are currently no iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12 Pro Max models to choose from. Multiple colors and storage capacities are available for delivery or scheduled pickup at select Apple Store stores.
As usual, the refurbished iPhone is discounted by about 15% compared to the equivalent brand new model. For example, the unlocked iPhone 12 with 64GB of storage can be purchased for $619 (about 3940 yuan) through Apple's refurbished store in the United States, while Apple currently sells the same model for $729 at a brand new price.
Refurbished iPhone 12 models are unlocked and do not require a SIM card. All refurbished iPhones come with new batteries, a new case, and a new white box that includes all the manuals and USB-C to Lightning charging cables. All refurbished iPhones come under Apple's standard one-year warranty and are eligible for an extended AppleCare+ warranty.
Apple says its refurbished products have been thoroughly tested and cleaned, and in our opinion, they are almost indistinguishable from brand new Apple products.
