2016 7.19 flood, early in the morning Guan Jinyu was woken up by the sound of rain outside, got up to take a look, found that it was pouring rain outside and even waterlogging phenomenon, he held the clothes in one hand, grabbed the mobile phone in the other hand and got up to go outside, his wife advised him to stay at home, but after pulling a few times, he could not help him, and could only ask him to go away with a few words.
Guan Jinyu waded through the waist-deep flood and ran towards the unit on foot, while using his mobile phone to report his location and safety to his home, while asking the unit duty officer about the current status of the power grid, a wave of flood rushed in, a stumbling new mobile phone sent by his wife fell into the water, too late to look for it, straight to the unit. Immediately after arrival, it is put into flood control and power conservation until the flood water recedes and the grid returns to normal operation. When he went home, he watched everyone in the community busy cleaning up the water in their homes, but he didn't help him a little when the basement of the house was flooded.
From July 21 to 23, 2021, Huixian City suffered the largest flooding in history, and the power grid was hit by a huge impact, and several substations and transmission lines were forced to shut down. As the hub of power grid operation, the power dispatching and control center bears the heavy responsibility of protecting the safety of the city's power grid, and Guan Jinyu, as the dispatching team leader of the State Grid Huixian City Power Supply Company, has never left the control room one step at all, busy coordinating and directing the disposal of power grid failures, which is more than 10 days. During this period, the family was flooded again, my wife complained on the phone, the little difference family was in the fight, and I fought alone. Guan Jinyu just silently listened to his wife on the other side of the phone whispering. He told us that he had hoped his wife would yell out loud, even if it was a few scoldings, but she didn't. Those sufferings, those pains, those hurts, those sorrows, only infinite thoughts remain. He was never absent from his post, but his family was affected by the disaster but it was delayed, and he owed his wife. He thanked his wife for her understanding, for every meal she had cooked for him, for every piece of clothing she washed.
Indescribable guilt
During the peak period of electricity consumption, Guan Jinyu has endless and unfinished calls every day, records that cannot be completed, and countless calls to blame for electricity, but for the safety of the power grid, they focus on the overall situation and insist on implementing in accordance with the relevant provisions of dispatch. Therefore, customer cold words are relative, and even insults, is commonplace. Busy and tiring work, customers do not understand that they can bear patiently, the most important thing is that there are emergencies in the home when the work is busy.
In mid-December 2021, Guan Jinyu's mother in her eighties accidentally broke her right arm. At that time, it was the end of the year, the work and indicators were in the final stage, the time was tight, the task was heavy, in order to complete the task on time and with good quality, the old mother was sent to the hospital for disposal surgery and handed over to the family to take care of, and then quickly returned to the unit. On December 23, Guan Jinyu was surveying the line with the personnel of the power supply station in Wu Village, when he suddenly received a call from his family, and as soon as he connected it, he was scolded by his mother for splitting his head and covering his face. It turned out that his mother could not sleep for several days because he could not bear the pain caused by the bandage, and his mother complained that he had not seen anyone for several days. Guan Jinyu could not explain, and his heart was full of guilt and uneasiness for his mother.
"Hardcore" guards the grid
In recent years, due to the large number of power grid infrastructure, reconstruction, expansion and capacity increase, and technical transformation projects, heavy construction tasks, and frequent power outages, Guan Jinyu actively coordinated and communicated with higher-level dispatching and operating units to reasonably arrange the operation mode. Regardless of the severe winter and severe heat, he timely surveyed and accepted the new equipment of countless large, medium, and small users, and compiled a total of 89 various power transmission schemes. From project acceptance, to program formulation, to equipment investment, every time we are conscientious.
Guan Jinyu has the courage to explore, actively organize scientific and technological innovation and patent invention activities, provide suggestions for activities, and each project is approved, and it is necessary to go through reference materials and books to ensure the smooth implementation of the project. Since 2003, the QC achievements of the Control Center have been continuously awarded in the evaluation of the Provincial Electric Power Industry Association.
