The "Fire Emblem" series has been born for a long time, with many works, with many excellent reputation works, but it is such a game that has also fallen into crisis in that year, due to the platform, too high difficulty, game type and other reasons, the sales of the Fire Emblem series at that time were not ideal.
After several years of failure, developer Intelligent Systems decided to give it a go and stuffed a lot of new content, which made Fire Emblem: Awakening (hereinafter referred to as Awakening) and allowed the fire emblem game series to be reborn and able to continue to develop a sequel.
Of course I didn't know about these things when I was playing, but what is visible to the naked eye is that the Fire Emblem series has undergone major changes since this generation:
1. The painting style becomes flattering: Each character, both male and female, has become particularly good-looking, and the players' husbands and wives have become much more.
2. You can fall in love unscrupulously: In the previous fire pattern, the characters can also increase the favorability, but before it was only the follow-up story of each character at the end, and the love element of this game is implemented throughout the game, and you can confess to marriage in the middle of the game!
3. Greatly reduced game difficulty: the previous fire pattern has only one kind of difficulty, the character manipulated by the player is dead, the difficulty of each level is also very high, often requires the player to keep SL over, in the "Awakening" not only the overall difficulty of the game has become lower and there is an official regret chess, basically it is difficult to play and want to die.
There is no doubt that "Awakening" is a great acclaim, and cute newcomers like me have been able to become fans of the series from this game, which has also inspired the Fire emblem production team to continue to release themselves and develop a more subversive next work.
A few years later, Fire Emblem's masterpiece "Flame Emblem IF" (hereinafter referred to as IF) appeared, which can be said to be more deviant in the hearts of old fans, marriage, childbirth, simulated business, plus DLC A total of three lines need to pass the customs three times...
This generation is less difficult than Awakening, adding a new undead bird mode, that is, the character will not die permanently after defeat, but will only retreat first.
The design of the three lines also makes the difficulty of the game from the White Night Kingdom, the Dark Night Kingdom, and the Demon Kingdom gradually, which can be said to be more suitable for newcomers to enter the pit than "Awakening".
I think the game is very "fun", the charm of the house element is not an unsuccessful, it really attracted a lot of players to pay for it.
Not only the protagonist can choose men and women, but also unprecedented in this work to put together a variety of brothers and sisters cp, a variety of handsome and beautiful women supporting roles more, although now it seems very strange, but I honestly passed the game 3 times, in the game married 3 wives.
Players have a base camp in the game where they can simulate operations, build various facilities, interact with the characters in the game, chat, touch (literally), and even build a bathhouse for a chance encounter!
This time the love system is even stronger than the skyline, not only can choose a spouse to marry, but also have children in the middle of the game, children can also participate in battles, and step by step grow into the main force of the team.
Although this game has evolved significantly from its predecessors, it still hasn't sold more than Awakening, but IF has been quite successful compared to previous failed works.
After absorbing a large number of new fans through two works, developer Intelligent Systems remade an old game to take care of old fans, that is, "Fire Emblem Echo: Another Hero King" (hereinafter referred to as the Echo).
This work returns to the tradition of the series, there is no love simulation, the improved character modeling is no longer a big-headed doll, the weapons are removed, etc., the 3D maze exploration is added, and so on... Changes in various aspects have polarized the evaluation of this game, and for me personally, it is still a game worth playing.
What is more significant for Chinese players is that "Echo" is the first official Chinese work in the series, which also laid a solid foundation for the official Chinese of "Fire Emblem: Wind and Snow Moon".
In the 3DS era, I played the D version because I was still studying, but when "Fire Emblem: Wind and Snow Moon" was released, I immediately contributed a sales volume, which is also a support for the favorite "Fire Emblem" series, and I hope that their next work can be better and better, and the more it sells, the better! At the same time, I hope that all game manufacturers who are out of the official Chinese will get the rewards they deserve.
