His father-in-law was a descendant of the Shang royal family, and his sense of existence was low but he was admired, and he once said that the Second Cross was praised by Confucius

In the thousands of years of history of the mainland, Kong Dasheng is definitely a well-known celebrity throughout the ages. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the great educator Confucius was a representative figure of that era, and he was admired by many people for creating Confucianism, including 72 sages and 3,000 disciples under Confucius. Because of Confucius's eminent position, his 72 sage disciples were also respected. Among Confucius's 72 sages, there is one apprentice who is more special: his sense of existence in the history books is very low, he only said 20 words and won the praise of Confucius, and his father-in-law was also a descendant of the Shang Dynasty royal family, and later he was also admired by people.

For those who believe in Confucianism, Confucius is not only the head of Confucianism, but also a god-like being; confucius's 72 sage disciples are brilliant beings who are only slightly lower than gods. Among Confucius's 72 sages was a disciple named Nangong Shi, who was admired by many people in history, but he had no sense of existence in the history books, and the glorious deeds of his life were not recorded much. However, Nangong Shi was very powerful.

First, let's look at the achievements of Nangong Shi. According to historical records, Nangong Shi did not achieve any brilliant achievements at all in his life, but he was admired by posterity. In the Three Tang Dynasty classics of the New Book of Tang, the General Code, and the Tang Huijiao, Nangong Shi was revered as "Tan Bo". In the History of Song, Nangong Shi was revered as the "Marquis of Ruyang". In ancient times on the continent, the emperor was the supreme ruler, followed by the king, then the duke, then the marquis, then the earl, followed by the viscount... The Tang and Song dynasties were thousands of years away from the Spring and Autumn Warring States period, and the titles of "Tan Bo" and "Marquis of Ruyang" only expressed the respect of posterity for him, which shows that Nangong Shi was still very respected.

His father-in-law was a descendant of the Shang royal family, and his sense of existence was low but he was admired, and he once said that the Second Cross was praised by Confucius

Let's take a look at nangongshi's life. Due to the limited historical records, there is not much detailed information about Nangong shi. Nangong Shi, male, birth and death year unknown, lu guoren in the late Spring and Autumn period, studied under Confucius, married his wife Meng Shi, was Confucius's niece and son-in-law, proud disciple. According to the Analects of The Advanced: "Nan Rong Sanfu Bai Gui, Confucius took his brother's son and wife. From this, it can be found that Nangong Shi's daughter-in-law is the daughter of Confucius's eldest brother Meng Pi, that is to say, Nangong Shi's elder brother-in-law is Confucius's eldest brother Meng Pi. Nangong Shi and Confucius were not only master-apprentice, but also relatives. A closer look revealed that Nangong Shi's father-in-law was actually a descendant of the Shang Dynasty's royal family.

Meng Pi's father was called Shu Liang Qi ,a famous general of the Lu state. Shu Liangqi is a fierce man, has many wives, and has more than two digits of children. Shu Liang Qi gave birth to 9 daughters with the original Shi Shi Yaoying, and then gave birth to Meng Pi with a foot disability with his little wife, and later gave birth to Confucius with Yan Zhengzai. So Meng Pi and Confucius are a pair of half-brothers. Because Meng Pi's foot was disabled, he could not inherit his father's family business, so Confucius inherited the entire family business. Fortunately, Mengpi's character is good, and he did not make a vendetta against Confucius, and the two brothers still have a relatively harmonious relationship.

The 6th generation ancestor of Meng Pi was called Kong Father Jia, that is, from that generation onwards, their family changed their surname to Kong. According to historical records, Mengpi's ancestor was Wei Zhong. Perhaps few people know which Wei Zhong is, but Wei Zhong's brother is very famous, and his brother is called Wei Zi Qi. If you still think that Wei Zi Qi has no name, then Wei Zi Qi has a brother named King Shang Yi who should know. For Di, Meng Pi's ancestor was Wei Zhong, the brother of his brother Wei Ziqi, the King of Shang. I think that weizi Qi and Wei Zhong were members of the Shang Dynasty royal family, especially Weizi Qi was kind and loyal all his life, and even King Wu of Zhou respected him very much. In 1046 BC, after King Wu destroyed the Song Dynasty, he gave the Song Kingdom to Wei Zi Qi, who succeeded to the throne after Wei Zi Qi's death. Nangong Shi married Meng Pi's daughter and became Confucius's niece and son-in-law. Nangong Shi's father-in-law, Meng Pi, was also a descendant of the Shang royal family. This shows the strength of Nangong Shi's circle of friends.

His father-in-law was a descendant of the Shang royal family, and his sense of existence was low but he was admired, and he once said that the Second Cross was praised by Confucius

In the long course of thousands of years of history, because of the limited historical records, Nangong Shi's sense of existence is very low, but he has had the opportunity to show his face in the Analects, and only 20 words have won the praise of Confucius. According to the Analects of the Constitution, Nangong shi asked Confucius: "Yi is good at shooting, swinging a boat, and he cannot die." Yu Ji has a world of crops. Nangong Shi said, "Yi Shan Shoot... The meaning of the 20 words of Yu Ji can be simply summarized as "benevolence is stronger than force", and this view is exactly in line with Confucius's ideas of "benevolence" and "disgust with strange forces and chaotic gods", so Confucius praised after hearing Nangong Shi's 20 words: "This person is a gentleman!" This man is moral. "This is probably the reason why Nangong Shi was able to become one of the Seventy-Two Sages!"

Nangong Shi is such a very powerful person!
