Here's a list of Warriors players who will benefit from Green's comeback
NBC correspondent Grant Reeveman summed up the Warriors' roster that will benefit from Green's efforts: the entire Warrior roster.
NBC columnist Dalton Johnson commented on three aspects of Wiseman's comeback debut
Offensive end
Wiseman's first offense ended with a risky and forced cross, where he missed the first few baskets of the first quarter until the six-foot hooker updated his scoreboard sealed in April 2021. He initially missed an empty pickup, but since then he has dunked several baskets and hit all of his own free throws, most impressively the soft feel he showed on the final mid-range jumper.
In the end, he scored 18 points, just like the picture left for us by the teenagers in April.
Defensive end
For Wiseman, the performance on the defensive end may be more important than the offensive end after returning to the Warriors. Santa Cruz head coach Seth Cooper said after shooting training that Wiseman was always the taller and stronger one growing up than his opponents, and now his task is to skillfully maintain the vertical body when interfering with shooting and avoid foul trouble.
Wiseman did well in the first half, taking an unwise foul at the start of the third quarter, with facial expressions indicating that he immediately realized his mistake.
Wiseman's best performance is now the start of the fourth quarter, they grabbed a ball, Wiseman rushed to the bottom of the basket and dunked to score. This is the ball that Cole and the coaching staff will love when watching the video.
Overall, Wiseman is defensively motivated and dynamic under the basket, and his rebounding stats don't tell the whole story. Wiseman grabbed six rebounds in this game and he could have easily taken more, if he hadn't given up the next few rebounds to his teammates.
healthy
The Reason the Warriors sent Sports Medicine and Player Performance Director Rick Serini to Stockton was because Wiseman's health was a top priority. Wiseman looks energetic in training and games, his knees look good, and the only concern is whether he can continue to be healthy. Before the fourth quarter, Cellini talked to Wiseman and asked him to move his legs to avoid discomfort caused by prolonged rest. He then went strong in the fourth quarter, scoring six points in less than six minutes and playing in 21 minutes as expected.
Wiseman will face the Ignition team at chase center next Monday.
When Wiseman and Green return, Bjelica will be wheeled out
Warriors reporter Slater said on the radio show that Wiseman's minute count will be given in the coming weeks in conjunction with Green's return. Wiseman won't have much time in important games, but regardless of Wiseman's form, Bjelica will be wheeled out when he and Green return, and Bjelica has managed to prove in the past few months that he doesn't look in the mirror like a playoff-level player.
There is no substantive news between the Warriors and Evans
Slater said: "There is no substantive news about Evans, there is nothing urgent at the moment, and there may be cooperation in the summer. Evans is trying to get back into the league and may play the development league, which will naturally be figured out later.
The Warriors' three-point performance in the emergency stop is fifth in the league
