The amount and quality of oil do not meet the requirements
First of all, the oil stock caused by the normal consumption of the engine is too small, which will cause the oil pressure to be too low. At this time, adding an appropriate amount of oil can restore normal pressure.
In addition, the oil deteriorates, the viscosity decreases, or mixes with moisture, dust and other impurities, which will cause the oil pressure to be too low or no pressure, then the oil needs to be replaced.
Oil circuit blockage
The oil filter is located between the oil pump and the main oil channel. If the oil filter is too dirty and the oil path is not smooth, it will also cause the oil pressure alarm light to light up.
If you find that the oil filter is clogged with impurities, replace the oil filter immediately.
Oil leaks from the oil line
Oil leakage from automotive oil lines, damage to the oil pump or excessive wear of its parts will lead to oil suction and reduced pump output, resulting in too low oil pressure.
In addition, the weakening of the spring elasticity of the pressure limiting valve and the return valve, or the loose sealing of the valve joint surface will lead to oil leakage and pressure relief, and the engine needs to be overhauled as soon as possible.
The oil sensor plug fails
The oil sensor plug can signal the oil pressure alarm lamp when the oil pressure is not enough. If the oil sensor plug fails, it is likely to cause a misjudgment of the oil pressure.
In addition, the oil pressure alarm lamp or circuit failure will also lead to low oil pressure, you need to check the oil induction plug, oil pressure alarm lamp or circuit in time.
