IT Home March 9 news, Apple today launched a new Mac Studio desktop computer and Studio Display display, declaring that "fully meet the needs of users, to help users build the dream studio." "Mac Studio is powered by the M1 Max or the latest M1 Ultra, a compact design that can be easily placed on the desktop, offering a wide range of connectivity options and new features. Mac Studio lets users accomplish tasks that other desktop computers can't, such as rendering large-scale 3D scenes or playing back 18 ProRes video streams simultaneously. Studio Display is the perfect companion for Mac Studio, and it's just as compatible with other Mac computers. It features a large 27-inch 5K Retina display, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with character center, and a high-fidelity six-speaker sound system that supports spatial audio.
Apple says Mac Studio and Studio Display work well together to turn any workspace into a powerful creative studio. The two products, new to Apple's most powerful Mac product line to date, are available for pre-order today and will begin shipping to customers starting Friday, March 18.
At the press conference, Apple said that the Mac Studio has a total of 12 high-performance ports on the front and back of the fuselage, even what is convenient, and what kind of studio you want to build is easy to use. Devices such as cameras and portable hard drives can be easily plugged in and out with front-facing ports, up to four Pro Display XDR displays and a 4K TV can be connected for a wider field of view, and advanced headphone jacks that allow high-impedance headphones or output audio to be connected to amplifier speakers.

According to Apple's official details, the compact design of Mac Studio allows users to easily use a wide variety of commonly used connection methods. On the back, it has a total of 4 Thunderbolt 4 ports for connecting monitors and high-performance devices, 10Gb Ethernet port, 2 USB-A ports, 1 HDMI port, and 1 professional audio jack for connecting high-impedance headphones or external speakers. It also has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 modules built into its body.
Considering that users frequently plug and unplug removable storage devices and other devices, Mac Studio also provides several ports on the front for the convenience of users. There are 2 USB-C ports, USB 3 protocol with a maximum transfer speed of 10Gb/s on models with M1 Max chips, and Thunderbolt 4 protocols with a maximum transfer speed of 40Gb/s on models with M1 Ultra chips. There is also an SD card slot on the front that allows users to easily import photos and videos. Mac Studio also supports connecting multiple external display devices, up to four Pro Display XDR displays and a 4K TV simultaneously, with simultaneous output of nearly 90 megapixels.
