The K70 family was the first to use keyline separation, the K70 RGB TKL, and the flagship K100 did not use this scheme because it wanted to retain the Hub. The latest version of the iCUE4 has an intuitive and convenient interface, and with the K70 RGB PRO, it is quite powerful and can even detect PC hardware data in real time. The K70 RGB PRO can be individually backlit with each button, allowing up to 20 layers of lighting effects to be stacked.
The biggest improvement point in the performance of the K70 RGB PRO is that it can turn on the 8000Hz return rate through the iCUE, and the opening function will slightly increase the processor occupancy rate (a mainstream 6-core processor will have about 1% more occupancy). The concept of 8000Hz is not that the microprocessing unit scans the PCB 8000 keys per second, but the keyboard can carry 8000 keystroke information per second. For some esports players who pursue the limit, this function will at least not let their play be subject to peripheral hardware devices. Corsair products with AXON overspeed processing technology can turn on 8000Hz return in the device settings.
