The Zongshen 250X inherits the name of Zongshen's predecessor model 200GY "Desert Flying Fox", and the overall design is similar to the Current Haojue 150NK in the domestic market, as well as the New Dazhou Honda CRF190L released at the end of last year, positioning itself as an entry-level forest road off-road vehicle.
Of course, Zongshen is more realistic, using a 249cc displacement PR250 air-cooled engine in terms of power, with a power of 14 kilowatts and a torque of 18 Nm. The air-cooled version of the engine has been used on the Sycoron RA2 for a long time, and its reliability and running quality have been tested in the market, while the abundant torque in its low-speed zone is also very suitable for use in off-road models.
As a targeted upgrade, the PR250 equipped with a larger size dual cooler oil cooling system for the 250X can effectively avoid the performance degradation caused by the overheating of the traditional air-cooled engine in the off-road environment of long-term low-speed driving.
In the frame section, the 250X uses a single-stringer double-bassinet frame typical of small displacement off-road vehicles. Due to the full application of cutting and welding robots, the frame manufacturing process has made many progress compared with before.

For cost and positioning reasons, the 250X's suspension system is not equipped with a higher-end looking handstand fork and multi-link rocker arm, but consists of a pair of positive oil pressure dampers with a 172 mm active travel and a preload-adjustable mid-single shock absorption with a direct-attached rear rocker arm.
In the Off-road environment, the front and rear wheels can of course not be used in the 19/17 inch ratio commonly found in ADV models, the 250X uses a more hardcore front 21"/18"spoke wheels; the 250X chooses the far-star P207 tire that needs to use the inner tube, paying more attention to comprehensive capabilities, and the off-road ratio is about 50% to 50%.
The brake part of the front wheel is 267 mm fixed disc + double piston caliper, the rear wheel 220 mm brake disc + single piston caliper, and the standard closed dual channel ABS, which undoubtedly takes into account the more controllable braking performance on the road and off the paved road, which is indeed a very big highlight.
