Taking off the heavy protective clothing, she is a little girl who loves to travel, loves selfies, is optimistic and cheerful; wearing protective clothing, she transforms into the most beautiful retrograde and contributes to the prevention and control of the epidemic. Her name is Zhang Han, and she is a first-year student at Xiangtan Medical and Health Vocational and Technical College. This summer, she just turned 18 years old and threw herself into the forefront of the fight against the new crown pneumonia epidemic. Protective clothing, she says, is the most meaningful adult gift she's ever received.

Zhang Han from Lifuta Town, Sangzhi County, Zhangjiajie, was admitted to the Xiangtan Medical and Health Vocational and Technical College majoring in geriatric health care and management last year. During his time in school, Zhang Han achieved excellent results and was a good student who worked hard and was positive in the eyes of the teachers. After the school summer vacation on June 24 this year, she followed her mother, who was a village doctor, to help the local township government count the new crown vaccination situation. At the end of July, the new crown epidemic spread in Zhangjiajie City, and the situation was not optimistic. Under the epidemic, zhang han's rhythm of life has been completely disrupted.

The scenic spots that used to be full of tourists are completely closed, and the streets are closed one after another, and everyone is afraid. Zhang Han's mother was immediately transferred to join the local medical team to participate in the prevention and control of the epidemic. Looking at the back of his mother leaving home, Zhang Han was deeply moved in his heart.

After receiving her family's consent, she followed her mother and joined the medical volunteer team with her newly learned medical knowledge.

On August 2, Zhang Han officially joined the nucleic acid testing army. Departing at 8 o'clock every day, Zhang Han follows the doctors of the nucleic acid testing team to assist the township residents to do nucleic acid testing, health code registration and vaccination.

Temperature measurement, nucleic acid detection, disinfection registration... For the next 10 days or so, the same work was repeated over and over again, from busy day to night, sometimes returning to the hotel at 12 o'clock at night. Under the heavy protective clothing, Zhang Han's slender little hands became white and swollen; because of wearing masks and goggles for a long time, a clear blood stain made the white and delicate face wrinkled.

"Wearing protective clothing is easy to sweat, and the clothes inside are basically wet." The goggles are blocked by fog, things are often invisible, and it is very difficult to work. But even so, Zhang Han never complained to others, but instead smiled and said that protective clothing was the most meaningful adult gift she received.

"I used the medical knowledge I learned in school to popularize the seriousness of the epidemic, the importance of prevention and control work, and the necessity of self-protection to my friends around me, and encouraged relatives and friends to stay at home and isolate, not to create rumors, not to believe rumors, not to spread rumors." Talking about everything he has done, Zhang Han is full of pride: "In this epidemic, I have contacted many elderly people, most of whom have no children to accompany them, and their hearts are full of panic. In the process of household investigation, I used the knowledge learned in the course of geriatric psychology to soothe their emotions and get good results. ”

Zhang Han said that the experience of fighting the new crown epidemic made her feel a lot: as a volunteer, while helping others, she has also gained growth experience. She believes that under the strong leadership of the party and the government, everyone will work together, and normal order will soon return to normal in her hometown.
