On March 4, the Fourth Executive Committee (Expansion) Meeting of the First Session of the Jian'an District Women's Federation was held to commemorate the 112th "March 8th" International Women's Day, praise advanced models, and encourage the majority of women in the district to work hard, strive for first-class, and make contributions to a new era. Zhu Jian, deputy secretary of the district party committee, attended the meeting and made a speech. Li Shuzheng, deputy director of the district people's congress, presided over the meeting. District leaders Xu Bing and Ma Li attended the meeting. Attending the meeting were the first executive committee of the district women's federation, the chairmen and full-time vice chairmen of the township (street) women's federations, the directors of the women's committees of all units directly under the district government, and the commended advanced collectives and individual representatives.
On behalf of the district party committee and district government, Zhu Jian extended festive greetings and good wishes to the vast number of women comrades in the whole region, and expressed heartfelt thanks and lofty respect to all women workers who have dedicated their work and worked hard, as well as people from all walks of life who care about and support the development of women's cause.
Zhu Jian pointed out that in 2021, the women's federation organizations at all levels in the whole region conscientiously implemented the deployment requirements of the district party committee, gave full play to the role of bridges and ties, contributed to the "half of the sky" force, played the role of the "main front" of the family, reflected the warmth of the "mother's family" of the women's federation, showed the style of the times of "not letting the women's eyebrows be shaved", and made positive contributions to promoting the economic and social development of the whole region. This year is the year of the Twentieth National Congress of the Party, and it is also a key year for the comprehensive implementation of the spirit of the district party congress, and it is even more necessary for the women's federation organizations to find the focus of the integration point and lead the majority of women to unite their efforts, forge ahead, base themselves on their posts, and forge ahead in unity.
Zhu Jian stressed that it is necessary to unify thinking and action with the decision-making and deployment of the district committee, concentrate wisdom and strength on the goals and tasks, give play to the advantages of women's own characteristics, and strive to make more contributions to the high-quality leapfrog development of Jian'an District. It is necessary to give play to the unique role of the women's federation organizations and the broad masses of women in social life, family life, carrying forward the family virtues of the Chinese nation, and establishing a good family style, so as to make more contributions to improving the level of social civilization. Women's federation organizations at all levels throughout the region should give prominence to serving key groups, deepen the construction of the women's federation itself, and let the grass-roots women's masses see the figure of the women's federation, hear the voice of the women's federation, and enjoy the services of the women's federation. The vast number of women in the whole region should strive to be women in the new era who have pursuits, contributions, and talents, and win the synchronous development with the times and society with their own progress. All relevant departments at all levels and all sectors of society should show concern for and support women's work in the new era and the reform of women's federations, and promote the further formation of a good atmosphere of respect for the women's masses, concern for women's causes, and support for women's work throughout the region.
Deputy District Governor Xu Bing read out the commendation decision. Gao Xia, chairman of the District Women's Federation, made a work report. The meeting also presented awards to the "March 8th Red Flag Collective" in Jian'an District, the "March 8th Red Flag Bearer" in Jian'an District, the "38th Red Flag Collective" in Jian'an District, and the "38th Red Flag Bearer in Jian'an District", and the award-winning representatives made speeches in combination with their respective work.
