The tinnitus didn't stop, and even the hearing dropped

This is the 3676th article of Da Yi Xiao Nursing

Xiao Hu suffered from otitis media when she was a child, although she got a certain amount of treatment at that time, she also missed the best treatment time, and found that her ears were suppurated when she found it, so the treatment process was very painful and took a long time. Although there were no sequelae, a few months ago, because of the busy work and great pressure, she suddenly felt that the ringing in her ears was very strong, and it was also the kind of high-pitched whistle or metal friction sound, which seriously affected her work and daily life. Especially recently she feels that her hearing has also been affected to a certain extent, when others whisper to her, she can't hear it at all, but think about her only 30 years old, if you don't treat it well, you can do it when you are older!

The tinnitus didn't stop, and even the hearing dropped

Tinnitus is the conscious ringing in the ears, such as the sound of cicadas, or the sound of tides. Deafness refers to varying degrees of hearing loss, or even disappearance. Tinnitus can be accompanied by deafness, and deafness can develop from tinnitus. Although the clinical manifestations and concomitant symptoms of the two are different, there are many similarities in the etiology and pathogenesis, which are closely related to the kidneys. Tinnitus deafness can be used as a common clinical symptom, common in a variety of disease processes in various departments, or it can be a separate ear disease. Tinnitus and deafness can occur in Western medicine for otological lesions (such as otitis media, perforation of the eardrum), multiple acute febrile infectious diseases (such as scarlet fever, influenza), intracranial lesions (such as brain tumors, acoustic neuromas), drug poisoning, and hypertension, Meyo's disease, anemia, neurasthenia and other diseases.

The causes of tinnitus are complex

Tinnitus is not a separate disease, the causes of tinnitus are complex, and the medical community is still discussing, so the classification of tinnitus is difficult to unify. Commonly used classification methods are: classification according to the site of lesion: outer ear, middle ear, inner ear, auditory nerve, brainstem or central auditory pathway, systemic disease, local blood vessels or muscles, that is, vascular tinnitus and myogenic tinnitus; classification by etiology: mechanical, toxic, infectious, allergic. According to the loudness classification, it can be divided into seven levels.

In addition, secretory otitis media is a non-purulent inflammation of the middle ear characterized by conductive deafness and tympanic effusion, with a feeling of swelling in the ear, tinnitus, and hearing loss as the main clinical manifestations, mainly related to age, upper respiratory tract infections, allergic rhinitis and other factors [1]. There are relatively many factors related to the occurrence of secretory otitis media, and different factors can interact and influence each other, and effective countermeasures should be formulated according to independent risk factors to reduce the incidence of secretory otitis media[2] and further reduce the incidence of tinnitus and deafness.

Health effects of tinnitus and deafness

Long-term severe tinnitus can cause people to be upset, worried, worried, anxious, depressed and other emotional changes; can not hear others, especially leaders and colleagues, the speech, and they endure the huge pain caused by tinnitus, but often can not be understood, affecting work efficiency; tinnitus needs long-term medical treatment and medicine, bringing economic losses and even leading to huge economic pressure. If it is not understood by family members, it affects family harmony; very loud tinnitus can interfere with what is heard, often hear sounds but cannot distinguish what others are saying; the tinnitus is so severe in the dead of night that it is difficult for people to fall asleep. Even when asleep, it is particularly shallow; you can be woken up by tinnitus when you sleep deeply; after waking up in the middle of the night, tinnitus still rings non-stop.

Women are more likely than men

The degree of idiopathic tinnitus in female patients is more severe than in men; low frequency and frequency are more disturbing; anxiety and sleep status are factors affecting the severity of tinnitus, while the course, lateral differentiation, and the main tone of tinnitus are not factors affecting the severity of idiopathic tinnitus [3].
