Mercenary Warrior (Pico Neo 3)
"Mercenary Warrior" is a VR FPS game that simulates modern warfare, as a veritable domestic VR game light, this game has previously landed on the Steam and Quest platforms, and achieved good sales.
Last year, the game has gained a lot of attention as the premiere of Pico Neo 3, and the recent big version update of the game has brought me back to its embrace: this update has added a large number of maps and weapon libraries, and has also ushered in significant improvements in UI, social, sound and many other aspects.
The game contains multiplayer online mode and single player mode, and provides two major types of gameplay: confrontation and cooperation, and pursues simulated reality in terms of operation, whether you are a military fan or an ordinary player, you can find the fun of simulating real battles in this game. In addition, the game also provides some entertaining maps, such as the "ninja" map that can only use bows and arrows and swords.
Finally, as a multi-platform game, Mercenary Warrior currently supports players from different platforms to play together. I myself often match foreign players during the game, and this feeling of global players having fun together is still very wonderful. I would like to recommend this game to gamers who like real FPS games.
Zero Caliber: Reloaded (Pico Neo 3)
Zero Caliber: Reloaded is also an FPS game that focuses on modern warfare, has also landed on steam and Quest platforms, and currently receives a high rating of 4.3 points (out of 5) on the Pico App Store.
In my opinion, this game has two main selling points. The first is the abundance of gun accessories, you can upgrade the equipment of firearms by accumulating experience in single-player or multiplayer battles, the scope, stock, laser sight are mixed at will, and creating your own strongest weapon is one of the biggest fun in the game.
The second selling point is the rich campaign levels, the so-called campaign is different combat missions, you can choose to single-player or team up to perform challenging and dangerous missions. In the process of multiplayer, I will often communicate and cooperate with other teammates through voice, of course, chatting while playing is also a good experience.
If the charm of Mercenary Warrior is mainly in the intense player PK, then the main fun of Zero Caliber is to team up with different players to do missions. Personally, my favorite moment is hearing someone say: Are you PINK Dan? I've seen your video!
The Fisherman's Tale (Pico Neo 3)
Fisherman's Tale is another classic, still full-platform and critically acclaimed, and in my eyes it's the most fun VR puzzle game at the moment.
There are three main reasons for this -
First, the cartoon rendering of the picture design, the art style is very unique. Compared to the darker and scarier atmosphere of many puzzle games, this game is more like a somewhat suspenseful fairy tale, and I don't have to worry about playing anymore.
Second, the extremely elaborate puzzle design. The level at the beginning of the game is a scene similar to an infinite matryoshka doll, and there is an identical architectural model in the room you are in, you can see that the character model inside is exactly the same as your own movements, and your room is a model in a larger space outside, and some puzzles revolve around this setting. For example, if you put a hat found in a drawer on the table, you can get a small hat from the corresponding position in the model... Similar puzzle clues are not too many spoilers here.
Third, Chinese voice. This is really too friendly for domestic players! Recommend to friends of Pico Neo 3.
ARK-ADE VR（Quest 2）
The word ARK refers to Ark, which also means block, and this game is a VR shooter game that "protects blocks".
The game features a pixel-inspired design full of arcade retro style. In each level, you'll need to protect a mysterious block while destroying enemies along the way, which will game over when you or the block's health is reduced to 0.
The reason why I recommend this game is mainly because I like this pixel style VR game, it is very cool to play on the one hand, on the other hand, the performance requirements for VR all-in-one machines are not high, and it can run very smoothly. During the game, I found that the texture of the weapon was average, but I could get a stronger weapon by shooting different buff blocks, restore health, or turn on bullet time, which ensured the freshness and thrill of the game.
In addition, this game has intense and exciting boss battles. Against the boss, you not only need to output enough firepower, but also need to look for its weaknesses to break each one. Finally, the game comes with its own Chinese, which is recommended for players who like sci-fi games, especially cyberpunk-style games.
UNBINARY VR（Quest 2）
UNBINARY VR is a completely hand-drawn VR puzzle game, so its style is very distinctive. If you usually like to draw, I believe you will love it.
In the game you will play as a robot, and you will need to complete one test after another set by other "advanced" robots. These "advanced" robots are also very interesting, and when you don't complete the test according to their ideas, they will judge that you are operating illegally. But to be honest, how do I know what their ideas are, so in the end, I can use the resources in my hands and the map to finally reach my destination.
It's worth mentioning that you have another AI assistant by your side, which will chat with you while you solve the puzzle while saying good things about you to the robot that provides the test. How good it would be if I had such an AI in real life, so that I would never be alone at any time.
All in all, this is an artistic puzzle game that is relatively easy to play. However, it does not Chinese, so it is recommended that players open the subtitles while playing, so that they can better understand the plot and find puzzle clues, and recommend it to friends who like puzzle games.
Virtual Virtual Reality 2（Quest 2）
This game is the sequel to the well-known VR puzzle game "Virtual Virtual Reality", the previous game was the earliest is a 3DoF VR game, a few years ago also on the Xiaomi VR all-in-one machine and provided a Chinese version, when I played it was simply amazing, unfortunately, later Xiaomi VR did not do it, now think of it is still more regrettable.
Back to the point, like the previous game, this game is also using a satirical attitude to tell the story related to virtual reality, the theme of the previous game is to escape from virtual reality, and the theme of this game is to escape from the metaverse, which is really close to the hot spot. In the game, you play as a user who enters the metaverse, discovers a terrifying conspiracy in the process of experiencing the metaverse, and then begins a journey of escape.
There are many interesting places in the game, such as at the beginning I will meet NPCs who "play real players" in a restaurant, the robot that manages the bar also organizes a few minutes of speed dating activities, you can chat with each "player", if you are not satisfied, press the "X" button in front of you to change people, this kind of brain hole is really interesting.
But to be honest, this game requires too much English level for players, even if you turn on subtitles, sometimes the reaction speed can not keep up with the speed of NPCs speaking. I also feel really tired when I play it myself, if there is a Chinese patch, it would be good, but I will also worry about the quality of Chinese. So friends who are interested in this game may wish to wait and see, in case this game lands on the domestic platform, it is best to play the official Chinese version, so here can only be recommended to friends who are very good in English.
Blast Beat（Steam）
Finally, two VR games for the PC platform are recommended, first of all, the idea of "Blast Beat" is very good, it combines the battle, music rhythm and weight loss.
Every level you play a boss, and the opponent's moves are the ones you need to operate according to the rhythm of the music, such as the ball of light emitted by the other party is equivalent to the square in Beat Saber, and the summons and melee attacks issued by the other party require you to dodge. At the same time, the game also provides you with a quick-strike combo counterattack link, which combines these elements to have both the tension of the battle and the gameplay of the musical rhythm game.
In addition, the game also records your calorie consumption, which is really a game that can be used to lose weight, and I recently planned to use this game to lose weight. Finally, the bosses of this game are very diverse, ranging from cute to scary, which feels very "arcade".
Zenith：The Last City（Steam）
Zenith: The Last City is the first VR MMO game ever played by many people, and player reviews are "particularly positive." I think this is partly because there are so few of these games, and there are a lot of players who like MMO games; on the other hand, it's also because it's very interesting to be online in VR games, and it's immersive, plus you can communicate with other players by voice, which really feels a bit like Sword Art Online.
The game adopts a near-future open world setting, you can choose melee or ranged characters, tanks and DPS development directions are also available, in the game you can also climb and glide with open arms, it can be seen that this game also absorbed a lot of "Zelda Legends: Breath of the Wilderness" design.
At present, there are still a lot of players in this game, I also have friends around me who have specially built a group to team up for battle, the only regret is that the game has no Chinese, although there are Also Chinese patches on the Internet, but after all, it is different from the official Chinese, based on these considerations, so I played it myself is not very deep, and friends who have a special love for MMOs and English level can try this game.
