02 Enterprises and consumers are thankless, making formal recycling more difficult
Although we know that the electrical appliances that have been eliminated are best not to discard the polluting environment, let alone sell them as waste to small traders.
But for consumers, the recycling prices from regular recycling agencies and home appliance companies are too low, and it is more cost-effective to sell to small traders.
For electrical appliance companies, there are few reusable accessories for recycled electrical appliances and do not make money. Therefore, smaller companies do not dare to easily recycle electrical appliances, which allows small traders to grasp the "wealth code".
However, since 2020, the state has been studying the matter of electrical recycling, promulgated a number of relevant policies, and believes that within a few years, it will be possible to achieve green recycling of electrical appliances and create a good closed loop of the electrical industry.
03 Mobilize consumer enthusiasm and make home appliance recycling easier
The author believes that in addition to giving financial support such as enterprise support and consumer recycling subsidies, it is also necessary to simplify and transparent the electrical recycling process.
For example, consumers can see how their scrapped computers and home appliances are disassembled, sorted parts, recycled, and what kind of contributions can be made to protecting the environment, so as to improve consumers' enthusiasm for recycling and social responsibility.
