On February 25, the 2022 CCTV Comprehensive Channel Key Program List Release Activity of China Central Radio and Television Station was held in Beijing.
The release activities are divided into three sections: "Praising the Good Times", "Tasting Chinese Classics" and "Seeing the Great Beauty of China", and a total of 10 key innovative programs were launched.
The "Praise the Good Times" section released 4 new programs. Among them, the documentary short film "Instant China" takes "portraying the group portraits of strivers and writing the achievements of the new era" as the main purpose, fully demonstrating the new atmosphere of the times of continuous struggle and pioneering progress on all fronts. The series of cultural feature films "New Era in Art" focuses on literary and artistic works created in the new era, focusing on the vivid picture of the prosperity of literature and art and the construction of a socialist cultural power under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. The first documentary drama column, "China Story", puts a real and touching Chinese story on the screen, showing the national spirit and the national quality of self-improvement that has surged in the long river of years. The documentary column "All the Way with You" goes deep into the grassroots frontline to show the simple and moving struggle stories of the people in the new era.
The large-scale innovative cultural program "Ancient Rhymes and New Sounds" series released by the "Pin Chinese Classics" section will be launched during traditional Chinese festivals such as Qingming, Dragon Boat Festival, Qixi Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Chongyang and Lantern Festival, showing the long history of Chinese civilization through one thing and one song. The series of cultural feature films "National Art Archives" will rely on more than 10 national literary and artistic associations affiliated to the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles to excavate the moving stories of the ingenuity of top art masters in various fields. The series of cultural documentaries "Meet China" will focus on 36 national archaeological site parks, 56 world heritage sites, 204 national first-class museums and other key contents throughout the land of China, explain the new meaning of the times of Chinese culture, and comprehensively show the brilliant achievements of Chinese civilization and the major contributions to human civilization. The second season of the large-scale cultural variety show "China in the Classics" presents and popularizes the ideological essence and legendary stories contained in the classics, so that the words in the classics are "alive".
The large-scale cultural tourism visit program "Home Between Mountains and Rivers" released by the "Look at the Great Beauty of China" section will closely focus on the main line of welcoming the publicity and implementation of the 20th National Congress of the Party, visiting the ecologically livable and beautiful countryside in the new era, and depicting a magnificent picture of rural revitalization in a panoramic manner. The six-episode nature documentary "The Eye of the Secret Realm", "The Depths of Nature", takes the most unique landform of Damei China as the main line, and for the first time reveals the story of the rarest, rare and newly discovered animals and plants in the secret world.
Since the beginning of the year, CCTV-1 has successively launched the Spring Festival Gala, the live broadcast of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, as well as the opening drama "The World of People" and the large-scale innovative program "Ancient Rhyme New Year" and other major drama masterpieces. During the Spring Festival, the channel's national viewership share reached 8.84%, the highest value of the Spring Festival holiday in 11 years, and the national TV audience reached 665 million people from February 1 to 24. The comprehensive channel will strive to promote the innovation of the whole chain, all directions and all fields of programs, so that the high-quality programs will be full of screens.
